After tones of studying and class skipping.. opps ^^; the torturing week was finally coming to an end. From monday onwards i was studying in the library for circuit theory. I spend most of the day in the library, though it was the first time i'd visited there since the beginning of the sem XD

The guards there seemed to tighten the security in the library, most probably as the result of some dumbass who said during the OMS that the guards are too lenient, until most ppl go to library to sleep and talk. Damn.. wat's wrong with sleeping? it's not that it's obstructing other ppl or making other ppl unable to study as well. Anyway, i went up to the third floor to search for familiar faces, if any. There i studied with Lilo, and Chenli and Nadin on the first day, then i join Joanne for the following days XD. Her lil' bro, William taught us alot about circuit, for which i was really grateful. It's much better after reading the notes again and i understand what i'm supposed to do for the tutorial and past year questions.

For the exam, it was ok, but i did a stupid careless mistake as i was counting the voltage of my nicely simplified circuit. damn.. really do hope that the lecturers practice the 'error carried forward' marking system. If not, i'd be doomed. After the circuit theory test was over, me and Kristine went to Cahaya Dinar for dinner, as well as to return the comics we borrowed from HQ. The mango juice was damn nice, as it was really thick though abit too sweet. I ate 2 pieces of roti canai while Kristine ordered murtabak daging. When we went back home, I was suppose to study for Engine Maths, but instead was running up and down the stairs getting Loo Mun to burn manga for my auntie XD. I only managed to take a bath at 11 sth, after finished doing all the trivial stuff.

For the second test, i was reading 2nd chapter, with much difficulty understanding it at 8.30am in the library again, along with Joanne and William. He's damn good.. and was awed that he can understand so well about the maths... was damn glad that he's around to guide us and not letting us grope in darkness. I practically skipped all the classes on Thursday cos i know i'd not be able to finish studying if i go for classes. At night, the test ended not too horribly to me, as i think most of the questions i managed to calculate and get answers. Yey!! Holidays here i come!

After the test, Dexter drove me to my house to get my cpu, as i planned to leave mine with him so if any robbery happens *touch wood* i'd not lose my precious animes and data files in my harddisk >w<. Then, we went back to the campus for screening XD. We watched ROD tv and the members were laughing out loud during it, which was a good sign. *relieved* When the screening was almost finishing, Khurshid came in the room with Mc Donald's !! Kyaaaa~ i grabbed the frenchfries and ate some, before passing around to ppl. It's so nice of you la, Khurshid! thx again ^_^

Back at home again, i started to pack stuff into my bag and then some stuff came up that gave me a shock. It's personal so i'd not reveal it here. But in the end thing's settled and everyone's back to normal, or at least i was XD. All five of us in the house gathered in my (and my roomie's) room to have our girl talk, which was really fun, despite making me damn embarassed.. why only me kept on being bullied? *sobs*

The next day, me and Sharon walk out towards mmu entrance to get taxi. there was one and we got into it. everything was fine, with us getting to the bus station, aboarding the bus and me sleeping in it almost instantly. but then little did we know that the bus was not actually a direct express bus. damn. Guess wat? the air con in the bus wasn't working really well, making me sweating like hell during the whole journey. Due to the heat, i had a headache and also felt nauseated thoughout the ride. The bus stopped in KL, Ipoh, Kuala Kangsar and then finally only i can get out of the bus after 7 long tormenting hours. Felt like killing ppl at that time. The painful lesson of the story is that never ever travel in daytime without functioning air con and never buy tickets from Star-mart company ever again. it's jz plain horrible for me. Regrettably, i was too sick to read harry potter much on the journey, if not i'd be finished with it by now :P

So now i'd enjoy my short holiday reading manga, harry potter, anime and... nothing much la.. except studying for ECT1026 *tumble down on floor* Why me....

Last Saturday i've taken my Lab induction programme test. It was at 10am, but i've got myself half drenched in the campus at 8am.In this kind of weather I'm supposed to be sleeping soundly in my cozy bed, but no... i've got to attend this seminar for clubs organizing thingie. haiz. So for the first few hours i was studying my lab test and waiting for them to finish their speech. 15mins to 10 we went out for breakfast, but i jz grabbed a cup of tea and ran off to exam hall, while it was still raining.. damn.. my tea diluted with sky juice XD Summore on the way to the hall, my sport shoes which had to use glue to stick the soles on (it's like a crocodile's mouth opening XD) had finally became beyond repair... the soles on my right shoe got off as i was brisk walking in the rain. and i was cursing it all the way until i reach the entrance of the hall. Well, i'm a really environmental type of person so i took the soles and threw it in the dustbin before entering the exam hall. Yey.. i can buy a pair of new sport shoes now XD

After the exam, which i really hope that i can pass, we went back in to the seminar, walking under dex's huge umbrella all the way there. Well, the seminar was boring, as usual, so i started drawing... and came out with this few unknown objects...

Well, On sunday i was kinda blur and was having headache.. so can't study. so i draw. (kena hantam by Loo Mun and Kristine again) so this came out XD

After much preparation, we are finally going for Bon Odori on saturday morning. Dex drove to our house to take all the boxes of mineral water to campus and also gave me and yining a ride there. There were jz a few members around, cos it's jz 8.15am. I roughly took attendance of the members and then went off to withdraw money from ATM machine in Plaza Siswa. I was so excited cos i planned to get a Wacom tablet from Low Yat, with the 100 bucks i earned from assignment ^^. When i came back to the main entrance, someone(i forgot who ^^;) told me the buses had arrived and they were moving in the campus. So, we asked the members to queue up in 2 lines, divided into bus 1 and bus 2. There were some complication but we settled it without much delay. And guess wat? Khurshid is finally coming with us!! yey~~ good for you! ^_^ Din know why he wanted to go to bus two, leaving edo, the only AKM member in the bus predominated by KFC members, not to mention leaders too.. *grin*

In the bus, i was munching the sausage bun after finish taking attendance again for bus 1. Then only i notice that there were 2 pairs of lovebirds in the front row of my seat. wow.. I felt like a double lampost, so do kristine and loo mun, but not that we mind XD. During the journey to KL, i read the comic we rent the day before (ish, loo mun forgot to bring the first book, making me read the second book onwards with much confusion...) and chatted a little. But then the most interesting thing of course is to see ppl's cute sleepy faces! Kristine was at first chatting with Shu yin and Lynn, but ended up taking pictures of the ppl sleeping in bus XD. she caught the kawaii lovebirds as they were dozing (so cute...) and as well as loo mun's. hehehe.. it was so much fun seeing her taking pics of them stealthily. On the way we saw MMU bus!! Damn! and they told us we can't book the mmu bus cos the buses are going to Johor! It was no where near Johor, and instead was most probably going to kl. Gotta kill the bus manager...

About 2 hours later, we alighted in front of Time Square, and thus off we go to our first stop--Low Yat Plaza!! We were browsing around on the 2nd floor while i went over to the ps2 game stall to get some rpg games for my sis. Dex was accompanying me and he recommanded some games for me ^^. Before long, i've bought Tales of Destiny 2 and also Atelier Iris, which are quite interesting. I hope my sis would like it but dun think she'd have that much time to play nowadays ^^; Loo Mun was planning to get a mouse and also a pendrive, while i went in to Sri Computer to get my Wacom XD. As i walked into the tablet section, my eyes poped out and my jaws dropped. Damn! it's 330 bucks for a graphire 3! Last time it was jz around 200 bucks!! Waaaaa.... *sobsobsob* damn heartfallen. After all the anticipation, my hope of drawing and coloring digitally had gone to drain...

Abit dishearted, we went around the higher floor to search for cheaper tablet, but to no avail. Seems like they've got new stock for the tablet and thus selling them at a higher price. Damn! After Genny had got his dvd writer, we went down to ground floor to proceed to Sungai Wang. Jin wanted to withdraw money, so we went to the Lower Ground. Everyone was browsing around while waiting for him, but i was too tempted by non other than the Papa Roti's Mexico Bun!! My mood rose up again as i was happily munching the hot crispy bun, while Kristine explained to lynn and others that without fail, i'd go to the bread shop to get D bun every time i visit Low Yat Plaza. They were kinda fascinated by my craze, and after i've finished mine, Lynn treated me another one!! *eyes turned into heart shape* This is so great!! Thx, Lynn! >w< Of course, i shared mine with shu yin and yuhi, and shu yin said that it reminded her of Yakitate Japan XD. We joked about how the buns glow and how heavenly and exaggeratingly it was depicted in the series as we were munching on the way to Sungai Wang.

In the second shopping mall, we went up and browsed thru the ps2 shops, dvd shops as well as manga shops. Most of the time there were ppl who had to wait for the others who in turn are obsessed with the various anime or game merchandises or mangas XD. At last, we arrive in the teppanyaki shop for lunch. It was the first time that i'd been to a japanese restaurant so i was kinda awed by the setting of the shop. We sat down around a table, where the chef fries our food in the middle of the table. There were red and white strips of cloth hanging over the tables, giving it the Nihon look XD. We started to order and i chose the niku soba (beef noodle). We waited for our food patiently as we savour our occha (green tea) and some other dig in their japanese styled ice kacang (not much difference actually ^^). When our food arrived one by one, me started eating my soba. Found out that it was kinda delicious, especially the sauce XD. there's this saucer that contained 2 different sauce, one like soya sauce, another one is sour chili sauce. I ate the soba contentedly, besides taking bits of salmon from Jin and also Lynn's bean sprouts.

We left the restaurant at about 2pm after paying up our bills. Then, we went to browse anime shops. Later, As Jin wanted to see Gundam figurines, we gals parted with them and went to browse other stuffs. At the end, everyone separated, leaving me and kristine browsing handphones. I was in a dilemma whether to trade in my motorola phone cos it lags when i type sms. The trade in price was 170 bucks and that saleman can't guarantee that the price won't drop summore.. so in the end, i made up my mind to trade in and get another phone. I bought Nokia 1100 with an addition of 90 bucks. Many ppl were shocked that i 'down graded' my phone cos i dun think normal ppl does that XD. Well, i'm jz stingy i guess XD and i dun think there is a necessity for color screen. hehe.. but then i was buying it in a rush, and din check that the phone's vibrator can't work until i've got up the bus going to the matsushita sport stadium >"<. I'd have to fix it in melacca then...

At about 5pm, we reached the sport stadium, seeing alot of other buses, including another mmu bus there, which we found out later that was from cyber. we went in and got our fans, and then saw Yeo-san, our japanese class teacher over there too. We greeted him, but he was so blur that he can't recognize us >"< After that, we went off to the site with japanese food stalls. there were so many types of snacks that i dunno wat to eat XD. there's takoyaki, origiri, unagi bentou, soba, kakigouri...*drools* In the end i bought some sushi and origiri, while Kristine bought the 10 bucks unagi bentou. Loo Mun was crazy enough to get the bbq corn jz to satisfy her craze. Then we shared a kakigouri (ice kacang, without kacang XD).

After buying the snacks, we went around the field stalking ppl. ahhaha.. we had fun trying to take photos with little kids, and in the end kena stalked by shuyin XD. she's a better stalker than us >"<. Besides that, i took picture with Edo's Lisa, D lisa other than me XD. We wanted to take pic with Lina, the president of EMiNA Cyber too, but din have the chance as it started to drizzle when i was introducing myself to her. Too bad la.. and she's wearing a really nice yukata >"<. if not we'd have three 'Li's together in a pic. The place was too huge and too filled with ppl that we can't really had a chance to get group picture. In fact, all our emina members were scattered over the field that we can hardly find each other XD. Well, if Loo Mun's lost, we can always go over to the lost and found counter to get her back XD. Talking about being lost, there were a few cosplayers in the field too..*sweatdrops* it's like they are doing the wrong thing at the wrong time. i remember last year's bon odori there was a girl cosplaying as Rikku, from FF10. Now there's Kikkyo from Inu Yasha and another unknown character =_=|||. Haiz, ppl nowadays...

At about 7pm, We got to the spectator seats and started munching our food XD. The japanese organizer gave his speech in crisp english, while later on another local guy gave one super long-winded one *sweat* and of course no one was listening XD. Then the event starts with the first part of dancing. Everyone got down the field and gather round the stage in the middle, with lanterns hanging on it. Then the ppl in yukata standing on stage started to dance as the traditional song was played, along with the rhythmic drum beats. So ppl down there follow suit and it was a really nice view to behold. We joined in the fun during the later part and enjoyed doing the movements along with everyone else...

When we went back to the spectator seats, there were 2 kiddos in yukata sitting beside me. I tried hard not to look like a peadophile but they were so damn cute XD Yet when they were talking to each other (omg.. their voices are soo kawaii...) i can hardly catch up with wat they said. haiz.. wat to do.. i jz learnt japanese a few months only wat >"<. During the break, i was mustering up courage to talk to them. Anything will do.. maybe wanna ask them 'is bon odori fun' or sth. But in the end they went off, when i was jz going to open my cowardly mouth... Well then, I've gotta brush up my jap!! *resoluted for a while and totally forgot about it after 10 mins*

After going down and dancing for the 2nd round in the moonlight, we decided that it's time to go 'bargain for goods' XD. First we went to the Yakult drink (sth like vitagen) stall and queued up for our free drink. it took kinda long as the salesperson was patiently introducing and promoting the drink to the thirsty ppl. Think they cared more about getting the drink than its history ^^; Before long, it was our turn to quench our thirst. Actually it was not bad, not too sweet, but hard to say, since when ppl are hungry or thirsty, anything can be blissfully delicious. Jin, me, Yining and Loo Mun walked around the site hunting for cheap drinks. I got apple and plum green tea with 5 bucks, while Jin got 2 bottles of alcohol for 10. We exchanged one of ours and then waited for Kristine to get her favourite Asahi XD. She was really slow and when we went over the asahi stall, she was waiting for the price to drop. A can was sold at the price of 6 bucks, but she insisted on waiting for the last ones. At last, there were only a few cans left, so she gave up and bought 3 cans. haha.. when Hsia Liang came over the stall, there was only 1 left in the salesman's hands and he got it for 5 bucks XD.

At about 9.45pm, we went out of the stadium and headed towards the junction where all were suppose to gather. Was really blur cos we dunno where the bus's exact location, and i had to lead a bunch of members towards it *sweat*. In the end we found it, far away from the junction. so everyone got up the buses safe and sound~ phew. All the way back, we were chatting about stuffs and laughing and sharing the joke. Kristine was drinking her asahi already and ppl kept saying she's drunk, tho she's not XD. In the middle of the highway, we stopped at a rest station for ppl to 'release tension'. When i got back to the bus, there was a commotion in the bus. After asking around, found out that Edo was 'washing' the window glass by sticking his face and body there... The passanger in the JLs bus beside was horrified and drew the curtains over. Imagine it was that disgusting. ewwww.. Unsatisfied, he later on did more visual harassment to the next passenger. Lol..

Finally, we returned to MMU at about 12 sth. Kristine paid the bus drivers and then we left for home. Phew... that's the end of this post then.. took me so long to finish it >"<.. Anyway, gonna link the pics here later on so dun worry XD

hmm.. my frequency of updating my blog has been decreasing drastically... *drop dead*

Since becoming the president of Emina, i've felt the pressure of being one more and more with the passing days. I've never experience such huge burden upon my shoulders as i've always been the not-so-important-and-if-possible-can-be-forgotten type of person my whole life... i may have exaggerated but at least back then i dun feel so much pressure as i'm feeling right now. It might be nothing, or it might be jz me, but i think i'm stressed out. I'm worried about how well i should carry myself, how i should change myself to be worthy of the post, about my every decision for the club, about my mentality... there is so much to worry about, and so few solutions coming into mind.

I've always believed that i'd be able to take care of my academic pursue no matter what, but my conviction began to falter, as the beta course subjects get harder and more confusing as we go on further. For once, I'm afraid that i might fail even one of the papers. Everytime i put aside my tutorials and books and busy myself with club activities, the fear of not being able to catch up with my studies lurches deep in my thoughts. I started to think back about my club presidents during secondary school, who almost failed their exams though they were really excellent students before holding the posts. I'm scared.

Things might go well, or at least i hope they did, but i still can't help feeling so useless and frustrated. Maybe i'm not used to it yet, i'd console myself. But when will my adaptation kick in? 1 month? 2? I really doubt that i can change that fast, at least i know my inersia towords changing is really big. The momentum of changing might be huge, but it dies down relatively fast. One day i'd be so eager and full of enthusiasm to change, and might even succeeded, but i'd jz change back to my old self on another day. i'm jz too stuck with my lame personality. I try to be cheerful, i try to be positive, and not so blur at times, but it jz cant stay for long. Before you can say 'blur sotong' i'd be back to my lazy-assed, pessimistic, undecisive and blurry self. I'm jz too unworthy to become ppl's leader. But i've became one, and there's no turning back. Sink or float, i'd have to do wat i'm here for.

To ppl reading this blog, pls dun worry about me. I'm not going to suicide or anything close to that :p. I jz need to sort out my thoughts and to reassess myself for the betterment. It's time to change. But will it last? I'll keep on trying until it does. God, pls help me... i'm like a lost lamb, misled into the cross road of thousand choices...

wow.. so much had happened in such a short time. I've never been through such suffocatingly hectic week in my life. In the first week itself, I started attending jap class,which was temporarily set on weds and thurs at 7pm. This is really not my choice of schedule cos i have class until 7pm almost everyday, if not until 10pm. But since it's not for long, i'll bear with it then. On Thurs, I ran off from Jap class midway because there's a presidents' council at 8pm, so i have to attend it. We were briefed about the club registration day, important dates like when to summit master plan and when to do AGM. I've conducted my first emina meeting to discuss about the club registration day, like preparing the introductions for emina, posters, laptops for new members database etc... During the week end, Wishbone came with a modem and helped us to install in our house. He din know how to configure our switch so we can't go online simultaneously. But then the nightmare had jz begun as there were worst to come...

On the 2nd week, we got ourselves in deep mess as our internet connection was slower than dialup. Though Shin Dee had came over to help us configuring the network, we still can't online with 5 computers at the same time. The line was so slow that even if 1 computer connects to the modem, the dl speed is 100kbit/s, which is suppose to be 700 above for our basic 1M package... everyone in the house was tremendously irritated and frustrated with it. We called the tmnet customer service non stop until everyone working there knows my name, but to no avail. All they do was asking how's the speed of our internet connection, when we've told them a zillion times that it's still 100kbit/s. URGH!

Life still goes on, with or without internet connection. We sleep early and wake up way earlier than before. This is a good sign i think, since we're living a healthy lifestyle. So, i wonder does internet connection + downloads = unhealthy lifestyle? XD Anyway, on tuesday night, we when to clc armed with posters, color papers, banners and stuffs. Clc was full of ppl that night as all other clubs were decorating their booth as best as they could. Gradually it became really packed and heat dissipates more intensely in the noisy atmosphere. When most of the hicomms had arrived, we started to decorate our booth. We tried very hard to arrange and then rearrange the posters and papers we wanna stick on the 2 partition boards and finally we got it nicely, though it's a bit messy :P. After that, we ran up 2nd floor to hang down our banner, which was a really tough job to do.. members on the ground were yelling directions while we on top were pulling the banner up. After much hussle, we finally tied it and mission completed. Wee~

The following days kill off all of us. Though Jin had came on Tues to configure the modem making it into a router, which enable us to online simultaneously, we din have much time to go online. But we were damn grateful to him XD. I went to class at 8am, then stay at booth afterclass to promote EMiNA to freshies besides enjoying the anime op, ed and promos screened on Shu Yin's laptop XD. We distribute flyers all over the place, until we've finish all 400 pieces in 1 day. Besides, the 3 receipt books were used up before half of the day was gone. *shocked* So i was running all over the place to buy receipt books and food and get small change from banks too. Of course i'm on bike, or i'd die after the first round. Haiz... but it's a good sign since we have many members, so nvm la~ But being in the booth whole day was really exhausting, which made me easily slipped off to dreamland in the air conditioned lecture rooms XD. On the last day, We've got about 317 members!! wohoo! our hard work did pay off after all~

On friday night we have 2nd meeting for preparation of Emina AGM. We discuss stuff, assign ppl posts and eventually end up watching anime. heheh.. it was fun and after meeting we had supper with the boys. Most of the time they were talking about gundams and stuffs we dun understand *sweatdrops* but we enjoy the company nontheleast. We were exhausted when we came back home. After all those hussle, i can't believe i'm still alive. On sat, 3 of us went to yam cha with Jin and Lynn and we had much fun chatting for several hours :P

Sunday was bliss as i've got ample sleep. But on Monday, my induction program (which involves using the lab equipments like oscilloscope and the power supply and stuff was a total disaster. i cant believe that our Oscilloscope wasn't working well and the setting for the function generator was a mess... This completely spoil my mood which was part of the lab instructors' fault. Even they weren't sure wat we are suppose to do, let alone us! WTF! I was damn angry in the lab that the fire of fury engulfed me thoughout the 3 hours. Of course i din finish the experiment but we were not required to do report, so be it! I DUN CARE!

Well, at the end of the day i cooled off since my anger dissipates very fast XD. hehe.. was really frustrated though as i dun understand a damn thing in class, especially Field Theory. Really hate the lecturer who dun care a dame whether students understanding his lecture or not. Well, might as well study on my own, which everyone always does whenever there's sucky lecs.

On tues and weds, i stayed at home most of the afternoon cos i've no class after 12-2 hehe.. so nice. On weds, Loo Mun called the complain line, 100 to make a telephone line report, and right after that a technician came, when we've called so many times to the customer support centre not even one technician came.. =__=||| He tried to connect to internet using another modem. Then when the speed test result was out, we were gawking incredulously at the screen... 1M! wat the hell?! When we tried to connect again with our own, it's back to 100kbit/s. Immediately we knew it's the modem that's killing off our speed. luckily we got another modem for free and our speed is finally 1M !! yey~ after 10 days of suffering we finally got good internet connection! *in bliss*

Then, on thurs, which was yesterday, I went to the robotics club AGM and had much fun participating the boat-building game.XD we were given 5 piece of paper (photostat sheets of field theory tutorial XD) 10 straws and tape to build our boat, which is to float even after weights were put in it. I joined Kok Poh and his housemate's groups as i din know anyone else there. They were a bunch of wacky ppl and as we were pondering about the structure of the boat, we were joking and laughing like hell. In the end, we had a rough idea of our boat and started making it. It was practically a raft with 4 cones in the bottom, filled with air. it looked like the cardboard which eggs are placed on top. And due to it looks like sth else too, Leo, one of my wacky teammate named it 'the floating bra'. I almost choked myself (i'm the only gal in the group) while others were rolling with laughter. Well, in the end our Floating bra won us the first place! damn good floating device it was XD

after some refreshment and video clips showing us the robotfest with participants and their cool robots doing great stunts, the agm ended at about 11pm. When i get back, Jin was already in my room reconfiguring the modem. Before long he was done with it XD. Now all can online with great speed! finally~ *sigh*

This morning i was dreading the electronics lab so much that i got up in a fright, dreaming that i've missed the lab. ^^; But it wasn't that bad after all, as the lab instructors were capable and part of it is that we dun have to do much XD except drawing about 20 graphs of the sinosoidal waves. Me and Kristine finished about 12.20 and we were really happy about it. Then we had lunch in the pork shop and came back contented. So here i am, finally updating my blog XD. well, i've got to finish up my assignment before kristine kills me off~
