After seeing Ceyi's post only I knew that our full results are out. So, expecting my calculus to be less than an A, i hurriedly went to check mine. I was shocked. Followed by dismay. i can't believe it's not my calculus that killed my gpa... instead, the silent killer, the least i've expected, was E.n.g.l.i.s.h..
AAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaarrrrrrggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Darn it... it must be the grammar that got me dead. Darn!! it was really a shock to me... i practically gawked at the monitor screen willing it to flicker and refresh, then turn my results back to my expected ones.. Sob. It didn't. The reality gave me 2 hard slaps in my face and finally dawn on my that i got less than an A for my English, which i had easily finished in a flash during the exam...
*taking deep breaths*
Okay. at least i got an A for my Calculus. Really surprised. A good sort of surprise, not like the other one... *gulps*
easy,easy... i will not faint, i will not faint...murmur,murmur...
Last trimester was a disaster.(hey, it rhyms!)*slaps myself*
okay. i'll jz have to do better this tri. resolution with rewards... that will get me going, hopefully.
I'm going to KL today at 3.30pm. Then, tomorrow i'll be watching the chinese orchestra competition that my school's took part in. Really hope that they can maintain being the best this year. heh.. let's not get my hopes too high. After that i'll be going back to Melacca, to the dreaded lectures and studying... >_<"
Let's hope for the best then. God, give me strength...*dying*
My current facial expression --> =_=|||

So there! 2 resolutions and 1 goal, Fall Flat!!! opps.. Four Flat!!
i've achieved the first one many times anyway.. :p
Yeah! i can do it! Cheers!!
D Camp!
The camp i been to last few days was called Dynamic Camp. It's held by the Air Hitam Church ppl annually on the Penang Hill. I was really excited cos this is the first time me actually going up Penang Hill (we always plan to go there but never did). I was a bit apprehanded at first also, cos I'm not a Christian. But then since my fren invited me to go, wat's is there to lose? I'm glad that i din pull out last minute cos it was really the best camp i've ever been to!!
Full with anticipation, my fren's mom drove us to the foot of penang hill at 9am. We were suppose to ride the 'train' up to the 2nd station up the hill. There, i can see the long and straight railway going up steeply the hill, with the small 'train' snailing up and down. At 10sth we finally got the chance to ride in the train. The excitement ceased abit cos there's not much to see except greens and the train was crammed like a sardine can. When we reached the second station, the weather had became cooler. then we had to get on our feet in order to get to the Brothers' Villa. Yes, we trot the hill path with our handful of luggage a full 30 minutes and only reached there sweating and panting. But it was not that bad actually, cos the air was cool and refreshing.
Once we were there, we have to queue up and do registeration stuff. The Brothers' villa was actually a compound with 2 main buildings. One is comprised of rooms (about 20 or so) on the first floor while having a kitchen, canteen and some storage rooms on the ground floor. The other one has a Hall and more rooms. Overall, it looked old but sort of inviting.. When we got to the rooms, i notice that there were gaps between the wooden wall and floor.. kinda like an opening. Dun ask me wat it's for all i know is that it made the rooms freakingly cold at night having icy wind blowing in through.
After we had our luggage in our assigned rooms, we went to the hall for a short briefing about the camp and the committees. Then we were divided into groups, like normal camps do.. kinda boring actually. There was a talk at night after dinner and there goes the first day.
The fun started the 2nd day. We have to wake up 6.30 in the morning! It was unbeliavable that i actually woke up that early. Maybe it's the cold weather that made me get up. It was so cold that the water felt like ice. After we got down from our rooms, we were to do morning exercise, a task i've last done since Form 3. The cool breeze kept everyone awake and forced us to work out in order to warm ourself. haha..
In the afternoon, we have base game, which we have to run about to stations and complete tasks given out by the Game masters. This is where we get to compete with other groups for 'money' used in the following day's game. The interesting part is that in each group, there will be 4 handicapped members, who are either blind, one-handed or siamese twins. Those members have to be blind-folded or tied together while playing the game. This really adds on the fun. We have to help the blind to accomplish all the tasks painstakingly. I had much fun playing and running around the province. And the exciting part is that the games involved water! the weather was cool in the afternoon but freezing if you are soaking wet... In one of the games, if you lose, you've to be punished with pouring water. Muahahaha... There were also water balloons and water guns aiming at you. hahah..I was really lucky cos i was hardly wet at the end of the day.Phew, Thank God! i can catch cold easily...
It was even challenging the next day. The game scenario is that a scientist had created a mysterious thing which can cause havoc in the world and it was wanted by the evil boss. So we, as the investigators, have to search for clues around the world-which are stations featuring different countries' cultures -to complete 3 tasks; find out who is the Boss, what is the mysterious creation and not to lose all our 'money'. The thrilling part of this game is that there will be the boss's subordinate and shark loaner lurching around and chasing us. during the game, you can hear screams and long shrieks from us while being chased by the bad guys. We were really terrified as we have to travel from country to country without being caught by them. We have to sneak pass them, flee when noticed, see ahead and look out for them... it really felt like in war times.. really adrenaline rushing..
First my group went to Hawaii, where we are to be blind folded and hit a can in a distance with stick(wat's that gotta do with hawaiian culture anyway?). it was easy cos we jz walk straight and bingo! we got it. The next one was Japan, where we are forced to finish the biscuits with wasabi..urgh, it was plain horrible. Wonder how the japanese can even like this kind of stuff.. Later on we headed to China, where we are suppose to play pingpong with the china Ah Pek there.hehehe... it was fun, and did i mention that it's then that i first held a pingpong bat? ahhah.. it's true.. it got me interested and i think i wanna play pingpong more often later.^_^
The game was really enjoyable. although my group was not quick enough to figure out wat is the treasure, and exactly who is the evil boss, we had fun, and that's the most important thing. It was like we got to know our members better throughout the game and the invisible barrier between us had melted somehow. Maybe that's wat we gain, something better than prizes.
Besides going crazy in the games, there are also thought provoking talks. Questions like 'Who am I?', 'Why am I here?' and 'what is the purpose of life?' were being discussed. I, or should i say every human being, have been always searching for the answers to those questions. I've pondered and seek the answers everytime i thought of the questions, but in vain. Then when i think of nature, of how beautiful it is, with all sorts of living things in it, then of Earth orbiting the sun, along with other planets without clashing into each other, then of the solar system being jz one of the billions of systems in the milky way, then of the infinite universe having zillions of systems like that... I would be really impressed and on the other hand, feel how puny humans are compare to all those... Sumthing can't jz appeared out of nothing. A watch can't appear out of nowhere in a forest. there must be a creator, or a person who left it there. Same goes to us. We can't jz appear out of the blue. So, I believe in God, our creator.
I'm really confused before, about religions. Is it really true wat religions said about God? About going to Heaven and Hell? About Salvation? About dooms day? i'm not so sure even now, but i want to know better. i guess i have to be open minded. During the dynamic camp, i've listen to how God change lives, how my fren got through hardships and hatred with God's help... I'm really touched. Really, I am. you may say that i'm mawkish but it really spurt me on to get to know more. Maybe this is wat i've been searching for, and i've got nothing to lose pursuing the truth. Therefore, there and then, i prayed, along with others, that God would come into my life, and show Himself to me so i can know Him.
The camp ended on the fourth day, and i was really reluctant to leave, after knowing so many great frens and being so close with them. It was really hard to say goodbye, with our friendship jz beginning to bloom... we had spend our times together and gone through much in 4 days. It may be little to some, but with their help and guidance, i've learnt a lot. I thank them sincerely right from the bottom of my heart. And i thank God for giving me the chance to be here, to meet these wonderful people, and to know Him abit more.
I can say that this camp changed my life. it had encourage me to get a step forward to believe, to open up, and to accept. Things may not change drastically, but i believe in God, and His plans for me.. I want to believe, that With Him, an ordinary me can live an extraordinary life.
Goin' Camping!
hey guys! i'm going camping on the Penang Hill tomorrow. It's a 4 days camping so you won't see me online for a while, let alone any updates. heheh..
i'll be having fun and i promise i'll update right after i come back, k?
Till then, Ciao~

Driving Alone!
Today's jz great! I finally got to drive alone! without parental supervision! Weee!!
It was an ordinary afternoon when i was told that dad was coming back home to get his quotation after i've typed it. Then i got a phone call from my fren asking me to go back to HuaLian to see my former Orchestra practicing for the competition, which is on 17-18 Dec. I told Dad when he came back that i was going out at 3, about 2 hours later. And to my surprise, he said he's going to leave the Kancil home and let me use it! I mean, Me, Driving! and plus, Driving Alone! I was stunned at the thought momentarily.
I've been driving for half a year under my dad and mom's supervision. I dun think there's much good in that cos everytime i'm in the driver's seat, they looked tensed. When i drive, they looked so freaked out that in turn make me scared to death while driving. I was afraid that i might jz bang into sumthing too near the car (from my view) cos my estimation sucks. I panicked everytime things sounds wrong and they will give me that disapproving look. Maybe, i panicked more because of their looks, rather than the gears or brakes or clutch. *shrugs*
So, having low self-confidence which is jz like me, i asked my sis to accompany me for test drive. I needed sum help when i reverse out of my house cos it's abit narrow. Then Bon voyage! I'm Driving! yey!
I drove to town safely and reached the comic shop. Well! this is the first time i went to the shop myself without helmets!! this is jz so great! i was totally immerse in euphoria while my sis picked the comics she wanted. I paid in a delirious state too, and it lasted until i got back home driving. When we came back in the house, my aunt was so relieved. she said she had prayed repeatedly for my save return. Well, i'm in one piece, and so is the Kancil! Thx, aunt! My younger sis, lili jz had to give me the cold blanket. The first thing she ask about my ride was,"did you bang in to anything?" I stared at her and shrugged. But luckily my other sis, Lize the tester, gave me a pass! Wow! that's superb! i'm fully ready then!
I went to Hualian at 3pm, when it was pelting real hard. But then, Weather doesn't stop me now! Muahahahaha!! So i droved off to school with the wipers on. Once i'm in the Music room, many faces greeted me, old and new. I stood in a corner, along with all the alumni. Wow, it's been ages since i last saw them! We chatted abit while listening to the practises. I spend 3hours over there, and then decided to leave. One of my frens asked me to drive her back. Wow! i was really excited and agreed instantly.
it's so much fun driving without inspecting eyes scouring for mistakes!! This is the best day ever! I'm going to drive more until i get fed up with it! Weeeeeeeee...!!

Back from Penang!
Wow! i woke up early today too! 9am! Weee!
Ahem, back to topic..
At about 1pm, Mom ushered everyone off to get ready. We are going to Penang! yey!
Before our journey, We went to a kopi tiam for lunch.. me and my younger sis din eat much cos we had 3 pieces of bread and melted cheese for breakfast..Urgh..damn full. So dun have the chance to eat the infamous noodle soup my dad was bragging about (he eats there almost everyday...).
During the journey i was reading Diane Wyne Jones's Merlin Conspiracy, which i bought ages ago but din have the chance to finish it. But then i dozed off some where in the middle where the main character was going into another world.. When i woke up, The Bright big blue words forming 'Tesco' filled my blured sight. Yeah! it's the recently opened Tesco in Penang! and it was such a sight! cars streaming in from all directions, bumper to bumper, and the queue jz to get in the car park is like a huge long dragon. While we were stuck out there, i can see that the building is a 3 storey and most of ground floor and first floor was made as carpark. In the process, lots of honking were involved.. Geesh, these ppl jz can't wait, can they? We were lucky cos we found a place instantly, thus we dun have to listen to or even join in the concerto of sound pollution..:P
In no time, we were in the Hyper market. Phew! Compare to the cars, there's even more ppl in here! I was excited to get in this new mall before, but the excitement kind of died off cos i dun like crowds much. My family was heading to the loos while i hang around, browsing the shops. There were many shops on ground floor and first floor while the Tesco hypermarket occupies the most of 3rd floor. i was walking around when i suddenly saw my fren, who's suppose to let me stay at her house in penang on Tues. She was shocked to see me so soon and i'm kinda surprised too! never thought that i would bum in to her like that. it's been more than 6 months since i last saw her! After a brief session of chit chatting, she'd had to leave. So, i went on to the 3rd floor with my family.
There, the place was huge, but crowded. not much difference compared with other Tescos, but wat am i expecting? duh. So i loitered around, and then got myself in the cd section. My dad and the others were way behind browsing for stuff i'm not interested in, so might as well join them later when they are done. After i've look through most of the cds on the racks, they finally caught up with me. We then went to the food section, which, you're right, i'm interested in. hehehe...
I was going to queue up for the hot-from-oven potato buns but then got fed up. ppl were pushing and jostling to get their famished hands on the buns. i was disgusted by those ppl.Maybe it's because the buns were cheaper by 10 cents. Heh. 10cents can really make a difference.. the buns were good, but it din worth me getting into the bunch of ravenous, uncivilised aunties and uncles and behaving like them. No way. I told Mum, and we decided not to get them.
After a while, my family realized that things aren't jz that cheap in Tesco, which is true compared to the price in Taiping :P. So we paid and left the mall. Outside was raining like cats and dogs as we got out to the sheltered parking lot. Then we drove off to the pc fair! yey!
When we reached PISA the penang sports stadium around 7pm, it was crowded, as expected. I was too happy to be bothered by the crowds this time. I practically jumped off the car and flew off to the arena, where the pc fair was held. there were many make shift lots set up for selling computer stuff. so many gadgets, accessories, computers and laptops!! Wee!! I was caught in a frenzy seeing all these. We walked around and took alot of prise lists and catalogs. We saw ppl selling cd-rs really cheap (38 bucks for 100!)and pendrives(512MB!) and also wireless routers(about 300 bucks!) and powerful woofers. But i was searching for nothing else but a mouse! heheheh.. there were so many types of them, price ranging from RM5 to RM100!! Crazy, eh?
I had another surprise here! Cher Aun is promoting for streamyx there! hahaha.. never thought i would see him there like that! He was shocked too, and thought that i lived in penang. Darn.. he mistaken me for Kristine.. another gone case.. Do we really look the same?! At least i dun think so... ><"
Besides, my dad was also surprised to see the saleman in Low Yat,who sold Dad a mp3 player, appearing at the pc fair too! that's such a coincidence! Ha! Double surprise for us!
At last, i finally made up my mind to get a big enough and comfy optical mouse. Yey! it'll be more comfortable doing my Photoshop next time! no more cramps! ^_^
Dad bought some stuff too and thus we happily left the chaotic scene with salesppl shouting frantically,"Last night! Last Stock! Last call! 5 bucks each!"
Before heading home we went to Prangin Mall. It was about 9.15pm and shops were closing any minute then. I rushed up the escalators to the cd shops along with my sis. they were searching for the new RO (ragnarok online) guide book while i was browsing cds. It was bad news for them cos all the books were sold out while i've got hold of the cd i wanted. Oh well, we just have to search other places for the guide book other time then, since all the shops were closing by then.
At 10pm, we got out and headed home. All of us had tired and sore feets. It wasn't astonishing that most of us (except dad, my uncle and I) fell asleep in the car instantly in the car. hehehe.. I wanted to sleep but too bad! When the sleepiness finally came, we had reached home. Home Sweet Home!

Things happened today <--Lame title but..wat the heck >v<"
Last post i said that i would really offline at 10pm. I did, jz that it's at 11pm. Then i forced myself to go upstairs for bed. Guess wat? i can't sleep. heheh.. It should be a really normal thing since i've been sleeping at 2 sth in the morning everyday. Until 12 i have been flipping here and there willing the sandman to sprinkle sleep dust in my eyes. Then my sis came in and got a shock since i stared at her, wide-eyed, as she open the bedroom door. After that, since she and i can't sleep too, we had a pillow fight(yey!). And i switched place with her, jz wondering if that will help me to get some sleep. Dunno if it really worked or jz me being sleepy, i finally got myself into slumberland..
So, the next day, i was really surprised cos i woke up at 8.10am. that's so great! i dun even feel sleepy. I sat up, and suddenly the surge of laziness came.. i dun have anything to do so early in the morning, so might as well get some more sleep.. and i succumbed to this evil sin... this is so bad! the next thing i knew was i had a weird dream and the clock stated 11am. Darn.. there goes my morning..
Later, after lunch.. i continued to read chinese fictions online. it was really good, cos it involve going back in time and all (i'm a sci-fi freak) but then the ending was kind of abrupt. Quite disappointed actually. So i went on to other stories. if you wanna read too, jz
After some time, I jz felt that i've read enough cos my eyes hurts. So, jz for the fun of it, i went to meddle with the settings in control panel. I was really amazed when i found out that going over to the regional and language setting i can display chinese words in Yahoo! Messenger! that's really cool cos i've had frens using chinese words in their status and i've been wondering for ages how the hell could i understand them(they are in weird computer codes). Besides that, even my photoshop can display my chinese fonts! Previously it can't seem to read the fonts and i was so upset with my home pc. yey! that's so great!
This might sound weird, but then i was abit sad when one of my online friends said she's going to disappear for a long time. She is an ardent Online Gamer and it seemed that there's a new 3D online game coming up middle of December. So, she's gonna play that game 24/7 until she drops. Maybe it's jz me being overreacted.. but then i suddenly felt really emotional. It's not that we've really met (i've seen her via webcam and we've talked to each other in voice conference though), but i felt the sorrow of parting (Slightly? Maybe...). Or maybe it's jz my hormones.. *shrugs*
Think i'd got over it now. Dunno why i'd felt that way. It's not that she's going to be offline forever anyway.. So i jz bid farewell to her and there. No tears. Like, No Way! i'm not gonna cry! It's silly...
I was jz talking with another fren about her leaving, and gradually the topic about zodiac signs jz bummed in. i'm a Pieces while she's Libra. I wasn't that convicted about the signs being influencial in our lives or behaviours, but then it's jz shocking. i mean, i got to the yahoo's zodiac sign pages and found that most of my weaknesses listed nicely over there. In fact, All of the weaknesses listed there can be seen in me. Darn! that's jz so uncool. When i scroll up for good ones, not really all apply to me. hehe.. At least i can say that the page was not so acurrate after all, and laugh it off. But then, come to think of it, it doesn't really matters wat signs you have. It's jz good to know where is your strength and wat are your weaknesses. And so, after reading that zodiac page, i kind of realize wat are my weaknesses clearly and consciously. Next step. Change. For better or for worse? Well, that's the decision that i shall make.
Besides the above thingies, i dun think much had happened... sorry if it's a disappointment to you all who thought that maybe i've been kidnapped by UFO or i'd went back in time to the Samurai Era or simply saw cows flying up the sky while raining frogs.. hehe.. i have wild imagination, dun mind me,k? ^_^

Meaningless Ranting..
Darn..The surge of laziness is really getting on my nerves. I woke up at 12 today. and then stuck in front of my com until 2pm, when i have to force myself to walk a few steps away from the com for lunch. Then Dad came back to get his Astro activation form printed after i modified it. After that i was doing another blog to put my artworks in(not much though.. those not posted was too ugly to be seen). then i saw the tag-board was broken or sumthing. I din bother to check what happened to it,jz leave it to 'heal itself'. True enough, it return to normal after i created my gallery. yeah.. you can go visit my gallery but dun expect much.. dun seem to have the mood to do more stuff.
Think i better sleep early so i can wake up early.. at least i can get the black ugly rings off my eyes. Must be the sleeping late part that made me so tired and lazy.. (voice :there she is, blaming on everything else when things goes wrong..tis tis)
But then, i think i'll be better when tomorrow comes. Hopefully i can shrug off the sloth disease syndrome tomorrow.. hmm.. maybe tonight.. better plan to do sumthing first or i'll be wasting yet another day of my precious holidays.
Yeah. I can start with buying ticket back to K.L. That will make me more alert of the few days left for my holiday. Oh. almost forgot. I have to buy tickets to Penang also. Going there for the day camp i've signed up for. Hm.. That means i have to start packing too. And i haven't return the comics i borrowed.
Hey, wait a sec.. i forgot i have a bunch of things to do.. how could I..
*slap myself in the face*
ok! I'll be fine tomorrow! Jz have to! I'll slap myself again if i don't. I'll pull myself up! that's the spirit! i'll start with sleeping very early tonight! ok! going to offline at 10pm even if i haven't done with it. I'm Gonna do it! yeah!
[The post above is jz to get my lazy bum off to do sumthing useful. Just ignore it if you can't stand gibberish stuff. I'm crapping and am going to do more..^_^]

Me Masterpiece...
hehe.. did this in about 3-4 hours.. At first i wanted to colour the character named setsuna (she's from one of my favourite comics) but then gave up.. i suck at colouring.. might as well call myself colour blind. So at the end it turned out like this. Not bad either right? ( i'm self-comforting..jz ignore me)
i colour this and the original art belongs to my fren, Wounds. Credits goes to her. Glad that i manage to finish this cos i promised to give this pic to my other fren as a gift. ^_^
feel free to comment on it, k? In this way, you can help me to conquer Photoshop...
Muahahahaha...

HTML, anyone?
So now i know HTML stands for HyperText Mark-up Language. Great. First step to webpage creating. I'm doing sumthing useful during this hol after all...
Well, since i woke up this afternoon (mind you, not morning :P) i've been reading tutorials on html for beginners. One might think that i'm implying that now at least i've learnt something about it. Heh, this proved that that person doesn't know me. I'm still suffering from 'sloth disease', which is my euphemism for laziness. Thus i declare that now, i'm still at lost about html. There you have it.
But then that doesn't mean that i wasted a whole day doing nothing in front of the computer. I may be clueless about html, but then the good old cut and paste works jz fine for me. i've put on some links and then a shout box also(i prefer that name to tag-board,heh). Neat. And that's it. Darn.. i've wasted so much time on these few things.. Aargh.. Should have read about html and try to experiment more...
Ok. going to do that now. No use renting and letting time slip through my fingers, right?
P.S. if you are also interested in learning html, click here
i found it really helpful and not that dead boring i thought it would be. Have fun!
