It's been a few days since I've arrived in KL. The haze is horrible and I get even more horrified when I see people wearing masks. sigh.
On Thursday I reached Hang Tuah station on the afternoon and met up with Weiyong to go collect our robes and do the registration stuff together in MMU Cyberjaya. We reached there at about half pass two, and got everything done by three. Lucky us for there's no queue required at all. Then the trip back to KL took around 2 hours due to the long wait for bus and KLIA transit. That's why I hate traveling in KL. It takes longer to travel than doing the thing you want to.
On Friday, I finished up the translating task, ate lunch then went to Sungai Wang to meet up with Loomun, June and William. They were buying presents for Suj and Cyc in Pavilion after lunch there, so I walked to join them too. well, again traveling took 1 hour before I get to see them. After browsing around and getting the right present, we went off to see G.I. Joe. It was really packed with CG actions but with kinda cheesy dramatic plot. But I'm really awed by the would be technology in the movie. 3D interactive hologram, the accelerator and even the cool spectacle Ana wore really got me high. As for real world progress, we have touchable holography now in Tokyo seriously, where there are ultrasonic waves shoots out to create pressure sensation on you when you touch the hologram. Here's the video from pink tentacle.
So after the movie, we had dinner with suj in the foodcourt, where i had this spicy mini beef steamboat from the little taiwan store. It's really good with meatballs, lean beef, corns, some greens and Cellophane noodles or called 冬粉(dong fen). Loo Mun ate Vietnam vege-salad-ish kind of dish, which is totally not her kind of choice at all usually. She was afraid of getting sick, that's why she sacrificed the tomyam she wanted for the greens lol.
Then we went to Lowyat to scout for digicam and prices. Nothing much except everyone got what they wanted there. Then we parted and I went back on monorail, and took bus to return to my aunt's house after one hour plus.
Saturday = lazying around waiting for parents day. I was so free that I typed several emails to my friends in Japan, one usually takes up an hour or so due to my poor japanese grammar. and by the way, I got my TOEFL results from the online website today. Well although I didn't get full marks, it's more than enough to qualify for the entrance requirement for Tsukuba University haha. So who wants the TOEFL guide book to score I bought earlier? It's as good as new and moreover it really helped to score! *wink wink*
Now there's only one day left to convo! Some how I dread the draggy event and can't wait for it to be over soon enough. I'm only interested in taking pictures with friends and family so why can't we skip right to that part instead? lol.
Anyway, I hope to see you all if you manage to be there!

well, it's like a dead blog here for the past few days, if not consider weeks :p cos when i came back to melaka, the Modem was rosak. think it was struck by lightning, cos we were so smart that we left the telephone line plugged to it >__< so 1 week pass without internet connection, which is such a pain! Luckily i've saved some anime at home and had tons of manga unread. so that's practically how i spend my first week back here, reading long-saved manga and anime and clean the house painstakingly besides going to Yeo-san's extra japanese class. Thx thx so much to dex for giving us free ride there >w<. The jap exam date is 4th of December, which is drawing nearer and nearer.. hope i stay calm and do well ^__^;
classes were as usual, jz that i'm always anticipating the new lecturers and dreading them when they were incomprehendable, especially their accent.. can really die in the mid of guessing wat alphabet or word the lec had jz said.. *sigh* and they said local students won't have much language barrier problem.. There's always tutorial lec to look forword to tho i dun really have high hope about it. Why can't i get into Alan Tan's tutorial group? he's the best of all the lec man.. his classes were interesting and fun to listen to, and the most important thing is that he made difficult things easy. so love him last sem when we were allowed to go to his tutorial TT_TT
as for our modem, i'm really grateful that CY lent us his telekom modem cos if not, our suffering days with no connection would be prolonged. It seem that telekom, now known as TMNet was so brilliant as to go short on their modem supply. Well, if we dun bug them again and again, they won't even come and check our line. Now that i've got a modem from CY, i doubt that the TM ppl would come and replace ours cos i've not made a noise since then. Very efficient they are~ can't imagine how i'd work there after i've graduated.. *shivers* let's hope that they can't find a job for me there and i'm free to go XD.
On friday, Dex brought us to MP to watch Harry Potter GOF, along with shin dee, hsia liang, nikki, radikah, n adib. Before this we ate hurriedly in Burger King cos shin dee got the special offer coupons. Buy 1 wooper get a free 1~ yey. it was really nice to eat but too bad we dun have much time for softdrink refill >"< Before long we were already in the cinema searching for our seats. Actually the movie was kinda ok compared to the last one, but still missed out alot of plots, like usual. The Veela were not as beautiful as described in the book, the Quidditch match was pitifully short with much interesting parts cut off, Emma's acting was abit off, and the worse thing is that dumbledore is like so OOC!first he's shouting, then shaking harry, then running! can't believe it.. it's so not Dumbledore.. wonder wat happen to the director.. might have hit his head or sth to let dumbledore looking so uncomposed. haiz.. at least it's jz 5 bucks. if you guys haven't watch it, jz go download la~ no need waste money unless you wanna go for the special effects XD
After that, we ate steamboat! after buying all the ingredients, we went back home and started cooking with the utensils dexter brought over. it was fun and lynn later joined in too, tho she jz took pics for us. here's some of them:
hehe... oishii desu ne~ XD
Say Ahhh... Nyam nyam..
My piece of grilled meat dropped while i was grining at the camera and everyone's laughing as it fell into the bowl of uncooked meat >__<
so that's it for first week back in melaka~ will try to update as often as possible, as i suddenly got lots of studying to catch up yet tones of anime and manga haven't watch X__X until then, ja ne~ *runs away*
this the pic i missed~ did some editing tho ^__^

Free!
Since i've reconfirmed that our electronics test has been postponed, my mood jumped from depression to joyous delirium. My failure in field theory test was instantly thrown to the back of my mind as me and kristine were comtemplating about going to mahkota for a movie. So, on Friday, we decided to go after our lab session, which was chaotic but we finally scrapped through it at 12.30pm, though half an hour later than scheduled :p.
We went to the seaworld for lunch, but found out that it was under renovation. Surprised and slightly disappointed, we went for the economic rice next door. it was ok, and after that we were back home, feeling lazy to do anything else other than lying on the bed. hehehe... we were so free and felt relaxed cos for once in this hectic week we were not in a hurry to do sth. It's such a nice feeling, being able to indulge in laziness fully.
At 2pm, we went out to board the bus to bus station. we waited quite long for it, as the first bus we saw--it's a bus wira-- was going other route and left us there, dumbstruck. On the bus ride, we were still in a slumber mood and fell asleep on the way. When we reached the bus station, We were kinda stuck there for about 30 mins because the town bus to mahkota was no where to be seen. hmm.. Come to think of it, it's the first time that we were stuck in the bus central. still in a light mood, we browse around the station and ended up browsing magazines in a small bookstore.
A town bus finally arrived in a while, so we went aboard. It was kind of packed, so me and kristine went to the back seats. there's an old man sitting at the other corner, but it was not until the indian girls giggled and turned to look at the man frequently that i notice he's mentally illed. And then i realize the passangers sitting in front of him will eventually move to other seats, as he was singing and nonchalantly nudging the unlucky passangers' hair. Well, i was pretending to ignore all this as i think he is harmless, if i dun pay any attention to him. later on a malay couple came in between me and the man, and the malay guy was sitting with his back to the old man, kinda protecting his gf, but i think it's unnecessary and rude to the ah pek, even though he's not right in his mind.
In a jiffy, we arrived mahkota and so we went to buy movie tickets first. On the way to GSC, we saw the pikom pc fair on the top floor, which was a let down compared to penang's, let alone KL's. the site was small and packed, but with only afew computer companies. We browse around the make shift store after buying the tickets for 'bewitched' and found that the stuff were not that cheap at all. I did not see a store selling wacom tablet, which was half-expected, since my dad can't find any in Penang too. Then, Kristine went in to Ausino, which was having sales. She was really excited cos there were like 50%-70% discount for the towels. she bought one happily and then we go to Mc D and indulged in our strawberry sundae. This is bliss.
Before long, it's time for our movie and so we went up to the theater again. We bought soft drink, which i ordered 100 plus. When i drank it, it tasted weird, kinda like carbonated water. Kristine agreed too, so we went to the counter to change it. I was jz stupid to choose ice lemon tea cos it tasted weird and diluted, but at least better than carbonated water... so lesson of the day, dun order not-that-hot-selling soft drinks in GSC. Nontheless, we went into the theater and enjoyed the love comedy. Nothing big or spectacular, and it felt like a fairy tale in the whole movie, with the 'and they live happily ever after' type of feeling.
When the movie ended, it was about 7 o'clock. we window shopped a while, and had fun trying out clothes in the retail shops. By the time we finished, we decided to go eat in pizza hut, in which kristine can get 34% discount, an offer from Maxis, for a certain set pizza. we went in and got our seats, when we saw an old couple finding seats too, and finally sat at the small table beside ours and they looked not that comfortable at it. As Kristine went to take her mushroom soup, i offered them to combine our tables together, so that they'd be more at ease. Before long, we were chatting with the pleasant couple, whom i later found out stay quite near our housing area. wat a coincidence XD. They were really cheerful and we were charmed with their presence.
After our satisfying meal, we shot out of mahkota to catch the bus back to the bus central. It was quite late, but all the way i was chatting with kristine, so we din feel the pain of waiting at all. Then, when we finally came back to bus central, we found out that we were stranded in the place again, as the last bus back to bukit beruang had gone off. Restless, we went around searching for buses going back to our place. Yet the nearest the other town bus would go was Jaya Jusco, so we jz boarded it without much ado. We sat on the bus for a long time, before the bus engine finally roared and convulsed, moving slowing and later picking up speed.
Upon reaching JJ, i was jokingly telling kristine that we might as well try our luck to see if the sushi is still being sold by then, which was 15 past 10 o'clock. To our delight, it was! and so was all other food product! so we went in to the food department and grabbed watever necessities that crossed our mind. It was fun, rushing against time to get watever we need, while some other couples were strolling leisurely while browsing the goods. In no time, we hauled our grabbings and paid at the counter.
By then sweating and tired, we took taxi home and was glad that we dun have to carry all our tons of precious food in bus XD. So that's how i spend the whole day, which was filled with fun and miraculously no haze in sight. hehe.

Classes...
On monday, it rained early in the morning, so i was really glad my first class only started at 4pm XD. But then, since we still dun have internet connection, I've got sufficient sleep and woke up early at 9. After breakfast (steamed bak chang..yummy~) I went to campus to meet Wishbone, the guy who installs streamyx, to give him the telephone line documents needed. At 11 sharp, i walked to CLC and stood chatting with Ailing near the SPB booth while waiting for him. Ailing showed me her cool Naruto scroll pencil case and also the cute froggy pouch. Gotta let us exhibit them, Ailing XD!! Then when i told her i was waiting for a guy to pass the telekom stuff, Wishbone, who was leaning against a pillar nearby walked up to me. I was surprised as he was there for a while already, jz that i din know he's Wishbone. hehe... he said he left my hp number at home so we waited blindly for each other. So, i passed the papers to him and I went to CITS to online. It was almost 1 week since i last online... Felt so good to be connected again XD.
I walked back home an hour later, since my class was only starting at 4pm. Did some colouring out of boredom, besides hovering in the house having nothing else to do. haiz... this is wat happens if there's no internet connection. Lucky i've still got tons of anime to watch in my com, so it's not that bad after all.
The first class was plain horrible. The lec sucks and the subject was the among the hardest in Engineering course. Can't believe the bad luck i'm having. After 2 tormenting hours, me and Kristine went to pasar malam by bike to get dinner XD. It was so fast riding a bike XD. Then at 8 we hurried to the engin maths class, which was jz ok.
Tuesday's morning class was early at 8, and i almost overslept. rushed over to the class, only finding the lec telling us to be punctual in every class XD. So we sat thru the hour and waited for the next lec in A1. Most of our classes were conducted in the same class, so it's like back to secondary school. Our lec for Electronics was by far the best of all, as he had correct intonation and pronunciation, as well as clear lecture. It was enjoyable and sadly, his was the only one i would say so. At least better than none... *sigh*
after that, we went back to get ready as we planned to go mp to watch Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Me, loo mun and yining went by taxi since it's jz 10 bucks per car. Besides, the bus fare had increased so much that there's only a slight difference between the fares. After 20 minutes, we got off and headed to the cinema. Yining and I bought sundae cone while loo mun ordered a set lunch in shakeys since the show was only starting an hour and a half later. The show was funny and full of action in the same time. i liked the part where they were to hunt down each other but later on team up to fight back. It may seemed unreal, but i really liked how they shoot in the later part of the show, as if they were dancing XD. At about 4.30, we went back to central by bus, and i parted with them as they wanted to shop in Jusco while i need to get back for class XD. Din think i was able to but I managed to get back on time.
I decided to go to the MMU CF gathering after dinner, so i gave kristine a ride to CITS and went with Sharon. It was fun, with ppl singing wholeheartedly and playing games together. It gave me the feeling that ppl there are warm and caring. After it ended at half past nine, I went back, only to be told that it's Jon's birthday that night! Anne and Mohan came to our house to lead us to their house, which was jz a few streets apart. When Jon came back, everyone gathered in the living room and celebrated his birthday. This time there's no cake fights because Anne would kill us for messing up the house XD. The chocolate cake was delicious. We ate and chatted until 11sth, when i told them it's time for me to go back since i've got 8am class the next day. The night air was cooling as me and Kristine walked back but i was too tired to enjoy it. So after taking a quick bath, i drop dead instantly.
Wednesday was nothing much until we attended jap class. At first we were going to tell Yeo-san to conduct the class once a week, but it was impossible, thus we have weds and thurs. this means on thurs, i'll have classes from 4 until 7, then 7 until 8.30 for jap class, which are 4 hours of class continuously for me!! Argh! not to mention Emina screenings later on at 8.30!! i'm doomed. Now i'll either die from starvation or fatigue or both. Haiz. This is jz plain bad luck...

Holidays Ahead! (continue)
Right after the applied math paper, Anne suggested that we go yam cha (supper) in Cahaya Dinar at night to celebrate the end of exams. She asked us (me and kristine) to wear skirt, and of course i was shocked. Then she said everyone's wearing it so we might as well do the same. And so i was in it, with Kristine jeering at me "someone got a new skirt that day so now can wear di~" =__=" was my only expression.
That night, i wore the pale blue skirt, which made me feel weird and awkward. As we walked to our rendevous, Anne was assuring me that everything will be ok while i whispered my complains to kristine about how weird i felt and how hard it was to walk wearing a skirt over knee length. Ish.. when we arrived, we were greeted by remarks about us wearing skirts. Cheesey was like "What happened to you?!" and others mocked horror and shock looking at us. Anne asked if they also wanna wear skirts with mocked sincerity while i gave cheesey several slaps and punches on his shoulder for his kind remark. after that we joined in the chatting and ordered drinks in between. Everyone was here, most of the PE01 that is. We enjoyed ourselves to the max since exams' over and this might be the last time we'd ever gather and have fun like this.
After awhile, when everyone is finished with their drinks and food, We started our photo session and grabbed each other to take pictures. We took group pics, freezing our smile for several mins until our jaws' numb. CM took so many pics until he'd forgotten how to smile while Jon finally knew how to smile nicely after countless snaps. funny, isn't it? They had some really funny pose and we were mostly busy laughing at them. Before long, Yen Wei, Alvin and lilo came to join in the fun, adding in more noises, particularly from Yen Wei XD. We fooled around until 12sth, when everyone started to pay for the food and leave. Before that, we hugged each other and promised to keep in touch with those going to cyber. We wished them good luck and an enjoyable holiday and went off.
Wednesday was Loo Mun's birthday! on Tuesday night me, Kristine and Loo Mun were eating burgers near ep around 12. So we were among the first to wish her happy birthday with mouthful of burger XD. So on Wednesday evening, we rented a kancil and went out to celebrate, after we'd settled the telephone line application in the kedai telekom. Kristine drove to Mahkota and we watched million dollar baby, which was quite a movie IMO. Then we went browsing the shops for her birthday present, but to no avail. Though we had fun window shopping, there were not much choices here and so we decided to get her a belated birthday present. At about 8pm we went off to Amigo's for dinner. I ate black pepper chicken, Kristine's barbeque sauced while our burthday gal ate sizzling fish fillet. the food there was not bad at all, seeing me savouring my dish blissfully was enough to prove that XD. The setting was very inviting with bright glows of multiple hues on the celling and noises from ppl chatting and eating happily.
Then, i took the wheels and drove to Secret recipe, only to find that my driving skills sucks plus my parking skills even worse than i thought. It took me ages to adjust the car position to get in the parking slot and in the end i gave up and handed over the steering to kristine. My face was glowing red with embarrassment as we stepped in the restaurant, where ppl came out to see wat on earth is the silly girl on the wheels trying to do. That time i felt like putting a paper bag on my head >"<. damn embarrassing i tell you. ish. So i acted non-chalantly while those two were smirking gleefully at me. haiz... Before long, our slices of cake came and we indulged in. Loo Mun's yogurt cake was unique with rasberries spreaded on top and tasted like yugurt (duh!) while kristine's coffee cheese cake was jz coffee tasted. Okay. i admit i wasn't doing a good job describing the cakes but that's because at that time i was really full and can't really eat them with ease XD. so spare me with the cakes, k? *kena wallup* After that i drove everyone back, getting lost several times in town but no harm done. Phew, what a relief! and so the day ended with us back in hostel and attempting to pack our stuff into bags and boxes.
Thursday was the most hectic day i've ever had after exams. In the morning, i woke up and continue packing the remnants and then sat there daydreaming until my dad rang me. He said he was going to arrive at about 12.30 and so i quickly get ready while kristine was jz waking up. After a while, we went down and i saw my grandma, aunt and uncle were there too. I happily gave grandma a big hug and then we went to town to eat the infamous chicken rice ball. at first i wanted to bring them to the pork ribs noodle stall but it was closed, to our surprise. So, we went to the chicken rice ball shop near jonker for lunch. the chicken was good, and grandma was surprised that i ate the chichen with chilli sauce. hehe.. before i came to MMU i was chilli-free and now? all thanks to Kristine and Loo Mun i was trained to eat spicy stuff XD. After lunch, we toured around the area of red houses (wat's it called again? darn, my geography and history sucks) then we drove back to the hostel to begin moving our junks.
Guess what? it took us 4 trips up and down the lift to completely clear our stuffs; computers, bags of clothes, tons of books and lots of other necessities. We were damn exhausted jz carrying and dragging our stuffs out of the room and down the elevator. Then, my dad crammed all those into his van, which was thankfully long enough to load all our stuff. After much toiling, we went to our rented house and painstakingly dump everything in Loo Mun's future room. Phew, all of us were flushed with the exercise and were really glad that it's over. Mission completed finally! yey~
So, it was time for us to leave. We parted with Kristine and Loo Mun and drove off to KL. The ride was not a smooth one, with the diesel engine roaring throughout the journey and the overwhelming heat torturing us all. I dun even know how i got through it, maybe by dozing off every now and then, when i'm suppose to keep dad company XD. Anyway, we got through the 2 hours of extreme heat and reached my Aunt's house at about 7.30pm. There, we took turns to take bath, revelling in the cooling shower. When both my aunt and uncle came back from work, we went out for dinner then at night we slept soundly due to the exhaution during the day.
Next day, Me and dad and my cousin, who came back from London, went to Low Yat plaza to look around. dad was asking me if i want a laptop, so we went around taking catalogs and browsing laptops from shop to shop. most of the prices range from 3 thousand to 5, which was really expensive to me. But then it's really exciting to see all these laptops varying from size, performance, harddisk capacity and price and thinking one of these might be mine someday... ah, wat joy it was imagining having one of them while listening to the salesman introducing them one by one about their specialties and stuff... Yet in the end of the day, i told dad i dun need a laptop yet cos i've already got a computer. Darn. there goes my laptop. What to do, i'm such a good daughter XP (throw up).
After spending a few hours in Low Yat Plaza, we walked to KLCC as there was a massive traffic congestion along the road. It was not that bad actually, except that it had to rain and it get more intense as we were reaching KLCC. Darn, i was having a wet look as i stepped in the complex with dad, who din look any better. But then We couldn't care less about how we look, so we continued walking around the complex hunting for bookstores, as i was searching for japanese dictionary. Besides Kinokuniya, there were only a few bookstores, which shows how much malaysian reads XD. After several futile attempts to get hold of the jap dictionary, me and dad went to the centre ground floor to browse through the newest handphone on display. It was Nokia 6680, the one with the 3G technology. the salesgirl explained the features to us patiently and even let us try out the video conference thingie. Amazed, we thanked her and then went off to take pictures of KLCC from outside. As you can see, we were loitering aimlessly around KLCC cos my cousin wanted to meet his frens there, so we were actually killing time while waiting for him. When his gathering was finally over, his fren offered to drop us back in my aunt's house, to our relief. I was afraid that we had to wait for bus or taxi as i was too tired for that already.
On sunday, I can finally go back home. We sent my cousin and his parents to KLIA the day before so the van was then more spacious and less heaty. We reached home at about 6pm, jz in time for dinner, homemade. Ahh.. I miss homemade meals so much. to think that i can enjoy these delicious dishes for 2 months got me drooling all over the place XD. Home, At last!! *rejoice*

Aftermath of Explosion
On friday night we went out at 7pm, with me cooling off a wee bit. I can't go out with a sulky, gloomy face to have fun, can i? hehe. We went around Melaka raya crammed in a kancil with 6 ppl :p and got off to eat dinner in a hawker site. There was a funfair behind it and the site was lit up with colorful lights. I ate duck noodle while the others tried different things. As usual, i was given veggies from some of their meals and this lighten my mood :) i jz love veggie~
At about 8.30pm, our eyes were tore off from the TV projector screen as Jong reminded us where we were. everyone seemed to be enticed by the show on screen. So, we crammed back into Kelvin's kancil and off we went to Mahkota. We were going to watch Constantine there and before that, we went shopping since there's still time to kill. The show was really good, grabbing our attention fully. I've always been fascinated by stories of mythology, of heaven and hell, though i'm not a Christian. The story was about Constantine kicking the devil's ass while struggling to get redemption for his past mistake. I was totally grabbed by the sound effect and the cg that i forgot to get scared. Got shocked several times, yes. But definitely not scared. I do think that the director had done a great job not getting too cliche as well as fooling the audience at certain scenes. Go watch it and you'll see. It's a good show in my opinion.
The ending was abit predictable but what the heck, i enjoyed it very much. So after the show, we went to a bar. A band at the end of the small bar was jamming loud music along with a female singer. Well, the music was jz so-so but it created a nice atmosphere with us playing Snap (a poker card game). It was fun as we pass around cards quickly and try to get 4 similar cards. If anyone has a set, he/she has to 'snap'-got her cards with her hands on table- and everyone follows suit. The last person to do so will be punished. hehe.. curious about the punishment, right? well, most of the time the slowpoke will be smacked on the palm, or worse, on the arm by jong, who hits without mercy. everyone got their share of smacking, Jong too of course :P It was really thrilling and fun. It also helped releasing tension. hehe...
in the end, we left the bar at about one in the morning. the ride back was fine, minus the part where we got stopped by a police. We were damn worried as we were told to give him our ic. We knew that Kancil can carry no more than 5 ppl, but then we asked him to let us go with imploring puppy eye attack. hehe.. we were reprimanded a wee bit as we held our breath, waiting desperately for his release on us. Luckily, he finally let us go after giving back our ICs. Phew! What a relief. It was even scarier than the movie. Kristine was the only one not freezing up and talked back to the police. :P So glad that we had her around.
At about 2am, we got back to our rooms safe and sound. *sigh* what a day. at least i've got over the physics test. hehe.. good for me~
