It's been a few days since I've arrived in KL. The haze is horrible and I get even more horrified when I see people wearing masks. sigh.
On Thursday I reached Hang Tuah station on the afternoon and met up with Weiyong to go collect our robes and do the registration stuff together in MMU Cyberjaya. We reached there at about half pass two, and got everything done by three. Lucky us for there's no queue required at all. Then the trip back to KL took around 2 hours due to the long wait for bus and KLIA transit. That's why I hate traveling in KL. It takes longer to travel than doing the thing you want to.
On Friday, I finished up the translating task, ate lunch then went to Sungai Wang to meet up with Loomun, June and William. They were buying presents for Suj and Cyc in Pavilion after lunch there, so I walked to join them too. well, again traveling took 1 hour before I get to see them. After browsing around and getting the right present, we went off to see G.I. Joe. It was really packed with CG actions but with kinda cheesy dramatic plot. But I'm really awed by the would be technology in the movie. 3D interactive hologram, the accelerator and even the cool spectacle Ana wore really got me high. As for real world progress, we have touchable holography now in Tokyo seriously, where there are ultrasonic waves shoots out to create pressure sensation on you when you touch the hologram. Here's the video from pink tentacle.
So after the movie, we had dinner with suj in the foodcourt, where i had this spicy mini beef steamboat from the little taiwan store. It's really good with meatballs, lean beef, corns, some greens and Cellophane noodles or called 冬粉(dong fen). Loo Mun ate Vietnam vege-salad-ish kind of dish, which is totally not her kind of choice at all usually. She was afraid of getting sick, that's why she sacrificed the tomyam she wanted for the greens lol.
Then we went to Lowyat to scout for digicam and prices. Nothing much except everyone got what they wanted there. Then we parted and I went back on monorail, and took bus to return to my aunt's house after one hour plus.
Saturday = lazying around waiting for parents day. I was so free that I typed several emails to my friends in Japan, one usually takes up an hour or so due to my poor japanese grammar. and by the way, I got my TOEFL results from the online website today. Well although I didn't get full marks, it's more than enough to qualify for the entrance requirement for Tsukuba University haha. So who wants the TOEFL guide book to score I bought earlier? It's as good as new and moreover it really helped to score! *wink wink*
Now there's only one day left to convo! Some how I dread the draggy event and can't wait for it to be over soon enough. I'm only interested in taking pictures with friends and family so why can't we skip right to that part instead? lol.
Anyway, I hope to see you all if you manage to be there!

NEET is Fun
NEET is an acronym for the government classification "Not currently engaged in Employment, Education or Training". It was first used in the United Kingdom but its use has spread to other countries, including Japan, China and South Korea.
In Japan, the classification comprises people aged between 15 and 34 who are unemployed, unmarried, not enrolled in school or engaged in housework, and not seeking work or the technical training needed for work. The ‘NEET group’ is not a uniform set of individuals but consists of those who will be NEET for a short time while essentially testing out a variety of opportunities and those who have major and often multiple issues and are at long term risk of remaining disengaged.
As plucked from Wikipedia.
After finishing my last paper, I am proud to say that I now fit the bill to be called a NEET! It's been two weeks (or was it three? time flies) since my last paper had ended, and you bet I've been having fun through and through until now.
To recall back, right after exam on Tuesday I had dinner with Shuyin and Lynn in kokiya, leaving poor loomun at home cracking her brains for her final paper on thursday. Then Wednesday we had a class gathering in Seoul garden, about 16 of us there which was alot of fun where we kinda make signature gestures of our lecturers throughout our course and guess who it was. The next day we had a close fren's bbq gathering in Alan's house and that's cool too while busy writing/signing Anne's and jon's sigma books. Then Friday whole day is spent in Muar, with William, Jun, CP, Weiyong, Loomun and Suj. The food was really great there, where we went to the famous street of hawker food for otak-otaks and half way to yong peng for the mouth watering yam ring basket. Photos will be uploaded when I get them, hopefully *stares at someone*
The night on sat we had our EMiNA Gang Last Gathering in Wazen, where we have 11 of us there making silly poses at the facade of the restaurant *haven't grown up*

there's Qj, Kristine, LooMun, me and Lynn on the left, and Khurshid, Nazrin, Edo, Shuyin and Dexter on the right. Jin's snapping the pic lol.

My best friends and housemates ever.
On Sunday, it's the House Moving day. In the morning I went out for branch with Motor uncle and his family at the Shun Fat Bak Kut Teh restaurant in town.
The motor uncle had been helping me uncountable times throughout my years in Melaka, although he's abit on the rough side and always pulling my leg whenever I see him.
I'll really miss his 2 kids Ah Hock and Ah Pei too. Before we parted I gave them all the GACC sponsor stuffs leftovers.
Then after clearing the house completely (took several hours to move our boxes of stuff accumulated for 4 years @.@) and getting back our deposits from the agent, Mr. Sanjay, who is going to be married end of june *super busy*, we went around the house once more time, and left our home for 4 years. So goodbye, our Melaka home!
Before Loomun and I went to the bus sentral, we had dinner in Sakura House, which was not really that splendid after all. Wat you pay is wat you get i suppose. Won't really recommend it to people but hey, i'll leaving melaka di so nvm!
After 6-7 hours of bus trip *backache* I'm back to my beloved raintown. It was 3.30am when i reached but yey the HoShin (raingod in hokkien) who always triggers the 'rain' switch whenever she wash her clothes is finally back to her hometown.
Home sweet home~
To everyone I know throughout the past 5 years, I'm glad to have you as my classmates/friends during my life in MMU. I will treasure the moments we have together and will miss you all dearly. Even if our paths may not cross again, the times we had always hold true to me. Good luck in all your future headings and see you at MMU convocation in August!

Back on Blogging
Anyone missed me?
I know it's been too long since I last blogged, hiatus for one year already! time flies eh. Actually I got tired cos of my long winded style of writing, and the inertia snowballed every time when I attempt to update. So now I'll start off again with shorter posts so that I don't get tired of it that soon.
The main updates on my life, picking up from the last post, is that I am going to graduate from MMU in less than a week's time! That's a huge leap of update there lol, but I'm kinda lazy to recount everything that had happened up until now.
So some major events would be applying for the Japanese Government aka monbusho scholarship for postgraduate studies, leading to the mind-wrecking long wait for results of written test, interviews and replies from japan universities. Meanwhile I did my internship in an automation company in Melaka, learning not much on automation ironically, but more on PIC microchip programming. None the least I learn something about working life, where you will be totally exhausted for any entertainment after work and you'll ask why it isn't a saturday everyday.
After 3 months of training I got off the hook and continue on for my final year project, which is to design a humanoid robot structure. Not to mention skipping almost 80% of the lecture/tutorial classes. *proud* Of course everyone else does about the same.. maybe just abit less compared to mine. Well at least I didn't get barred, which is the main point.
With all the toiling done, I've finally gotten the scholarship! I will be studying in Japan this coming October, so dun envy me k XD It's one of the reasons why I am blogging again, to make you all drool on my stay there lol. Anyway, somebody should start a blog too since it's Toudai she's going *stares*.
And the other thing is that my robot is ALIVE!!! well, at least it can do movement pre-programmed. It's called Frog.E, name courtesy of Thye Shin. See the robot video below! Too bad i can't make it to dance hare-hare yukai or do any significant anime pose. no time >_<"
So I'll stop here. I am suppose to study for my final finals in MMU. Now that I've finish watching Fringe except the finale, I had to somehow start reading orz. Stay tuned for Sakura pictures from Japan next post! XD
*edit* I've posted the Frog.E video~~ XD

Japanese homestay Yatta!
Sometime during 2nd trimester i've applied for the japanese homestay program organized by JLS and somehow i managed to get through the interview. I guess they really wanted bubbly and talkative applicant cos my alter ego which takes place during any interviews apparently suited their criteria :p Loo Mun applied too but during that time she was abit cranky and tired (since she came back from KL right after work jz to have this interview) and thus she din managed to get a place.
That day after the interview, i sent loo mun to EP early in the morning to catch the Bus Wira. As we were reaching the bus stop, we were half shocked as the Blue & White bus flew pass in front of us. With half a brain awake, I recklessly accelerated to trail the bus. Loo Mun apparently was still shocked and doesn't really know my intention of doing that. When we arrived at the traffic junction, the red light was on and i zig zag through the long queue of cars, getting nearer and nearer to the bus. And there, right beside the bus, i knocked frantically on the glass pane of the bus's door. Time was running out as the Traffic light timer goes down to 1X seconds. Luckily the driver opened up the door and without ado, i shouted at loomun (she's half dazed) and ushered her to jump off the bike onto the bus. she threw back the helmet at me and at that time the count down is less than 3 seconds. Seeing her on the bus, i was relieved but then the game's not over yet. The green light turned on and at that critical moment, my bike's engine died. the bus started moving forwards and i'm sandwiched between a car and a bus. It was really terrifying as i kept restarting the bike while praying that the cars behind won't bang into me. Well, the sleepiness in me earlier was definitely gone at that time, replaced by icy fear. In the nick of time, the engine roared to life and off i go! Thank god that i din get injured at all. Loo Mun sms me later on and asked if i'm still alive because the bus turned to another road and she lost track of me as i was still stuck at the traffic junction. So moral of the story: never do any stunts when you are half awake :p
back to the homestay program. Well, it is one of the reason why i started working in Coffee Bean, and why i am still working now even if i have 5 subjects this trimester. Besides, During GACC, i'll be setting up a doujin booth to sell Heise's Artbook to earn some extra bucks. For those who are interested, I'll post about it later after i finish writing about the homestay.
So we will be going to stay in hekinan, a small town in aichi prefecture. Apparently we have to cook sth for a welcome party over there as well as doing some performances. well knowing how good my skills in cooking, the best is jz to do some drinks or dessert haha. besides i dun think we can get any necessary ingredient conveniently over there. knowing the ingredient name in japanese will be the biggest challenge haha. As for performances.. we'll come out with something soon i hope. i really don't want to bring my Er Hu over there and embarrass myself with my rusted skills :p
Although we have to do these stuff, what i'm interested in is to visit Toyota's manufacturing site :) really hope we will go to see the partner robot which can play a trumpet using its lips. we will be going to alot of places considerably interesting for engin students, and besides that, we will be going to visit a highschool too. this is the tricky part.. we have to do a study on our own country cos the students there will be asking us about our homeland *gulp* like wat's the population of your hometown etc. so before going to japan i have to brush up not only my japanese, but also general knowledge about Msia orz.
This time we won't be going to Tokyo most probably because it's really far from hekinan and time consuming for us to travel using the cheapest available trasportation, which is bus. so no Akihabara for us *sob* anyway comiket is in August so we won't be able to make it too. Instead, we will be going to osaka and kyoto. so not bad too la. i can take snapshots of beautiful sceneries and traditional building.
Anyway, i'll be bringing a laptop (yes i own one now muahahahha) to japan and then if luck's with me, i might be able to update my blog over there about the trip :p but for now, money money come! XD

Best Project Ever!!
Yesterday's project presentation was probably the next best thing i've ever accomplished after GACC. Why? well, i have to roll back to a week ago.
In short, for our project we had to program a microcontroller and fix it with hardware circuits to produce a basic memory game, where a random sequence of notes is played and player is required to repeat it in order to proceed to the next level, with longer sequences of notes. During that time, we were troubled, because the progress was not encouraging at all. We fixed the circuit and reconnect it multiple times, to no avail. even when it works at first, something would go wrong and our effort down the drain in less then 10 mins. We tried it on breadboard, and then on pcb board, which our lecturer later claim that he did not ask us to use, and lastly on project board. The grueling process involved poking in and plugging out wires while breaking a few of the components' legs/pins, soldering on and off board and scorching it black on the way and also tons of teeth gritting with intermittent cursing.
Things become even more gnawing when it was Sunday, a day before our presentation. Yes, to our dismay, the circuit connection on the project board done by kristine was still not working. There were no response, despite the annoying loud buzzing from the buzzer. Numerous checkings of the circuit were resulted with no apparent mistake found. I felt like being cheated as we had put in so much labour and time. Half giving up, we started to rebuilt another circuit back on the breadboard, hoping for a miracle to happen. All this while, Weiyong, our team leader was checking the project board again, though i was not giving much hope to it.
Anyhow, i kept an eye on her, praying that she could find out the problem. Several times she reconfirmed with Kristine about the connection. Suddenly, After checking with Kristine again, she found out an error! Seems like one of the connection was loose and thus not connected. Kristine resoldered the wire while we waited. And it's time for rechecking. All of us held our breath, and the battery was snapped on.
Silence.
We stared at each other. The buzzing was not emanated. It was a good sign. Still quiet, i cautiously press the initiation button. All LEDs lit up. And the game begins! Afraid that this might end up to be false alarm, i continued playing the game, and could hardly suppress my euphoric expression with every button i pressed as the game proceeds.
No errors.
No hanging of the programme.
Absolutely perfect.
YES! We have finally made it! IT'S ALIVE!! OMG i can't believe my eyes. i almost cried in that instant. Now i know what it feels like to have all your effort paid off in the end. The blissful happiness was more than i can describe. Overjoyed, i calmed myself down. Not so soon. We can't be totally relieved now, as we won't know wat would happen the day after, when the real test was to be conducted. I jz hope that everything will last at least till after the project presentation. We loaded in our latest amended program on the chip, and after some adjustment done for the cover, which was made using kristine's cardboard harddisk box, it was ready for D big day.
Our presentation whizzed thru smoothly, with me crapping alot while not forgetting the main points. The lecturer seem to be very interested with our presentation, which made me and Weiyong relax. He was being very supportive and i responded back to him quite willingly, as if we were having a friendly chatting instead of a presentation *bricked*. Anyway, he did not ask us all the technical questions, which all of us feared so much.
Thus, before long, the presentation ended and then started the project demo. I played the memory game, showing the features we added in. He was quite particular about our notes being harmonious, and we assure him that ours are, by showing him the 2nd mode of our program-- Simple Piano mode. I pressed the 8 buttons one at a time, making the buzzer go 'do' 're' 'mi' 'fa' 'so'.. till the higher octive 'Do'. then i fumbled and played part of 'jingle bell' and he was satisfied. Everyone heave a sigh of relief as he said well done, and indicating the end of the demo.
Well, it may not seem so earth-shakingly excellent, but it meant alot to us. I would not stop smiling the whole day, while wishing other groups goodluck and recounting about our own experience to them XD We were indeed proud of wat we have accomplished and the feeling will be etched in my head for a long time. This was the best day of my gamma 1st trimester. Victory is ours!! Muahahahahaha.... *bricked*
When we getback our project i'd sure will take a pic with our precious creation and post it up here. till then! XD
Yining's last bday in teens XD
Well, yesterday was merdeka day (Malaysia's national day for those who don't know) but instead of celebrating it, we threw yining, my roomate, a surprise bday dinner. Yining's bday was on 30th august (the day before), but since we all had classes that night we postponed it to the next day. Our perfect rendezvous was none other than the one and only Korean Restaurant in melaka, a cozy oriental restaurant called Tok Su Gong.
As it is called a surprise bday dinner, we din tell yining where we were heading, tho i guess she'd had some idea, it's fun to play along until dexter brought us there. As we arrived, the interior was warm with the soft yellow lighting. there's a few tables and chairs arranged near the entrance, with the cashier at the left. then further on there's a tradition korean sitting, where there's a raised up wooden platform and low tables, of which underneath were hollow pits for us to put down our legs.

We were impressed by the setting, and while waiting for our table to be cleared, we stare at the big flatscreen tv showing some korean gameshow. The owner was a petite korean woman with sharp features. When she cleared the table for us, she smiled and usher us there. We were seated at the traditional table, which was near the kitchen outlet. As we waited for our orders, we saw alot of korean food brought out which pricked our curiosity. we even took pictures of them before the waitress served them out. We ate grilled meat, and the red hot kimchi soup :D The food was really nice, tho a little bit expensive. But then, if you go in a group, the price will be ok if you share out.

Then come the cake, bought by Dexter from Yee's bakery. It was jz nice and not too sweet for dessert :D happy 19th bday to yining! *stares at cake*

After devouring the sponge cake, we waited for our watermelon slices, which we observe that every table will be served with after the main course. We have been waiting for a long time already, and once, the waitress brought out watermelon slices, but she din know which table to serve, thus went back in the kitchen again, leaving us crestfallen. We nudged Loomun to make the move, since she's easily pass off as a child and it won't be too embarrassing to let a child ask for our dessert *bricked* So, after much nudging, we got her to ask for it and had our watermelon in no time.

After the bloating dinner, we went to pantai kundur for a walk. it was breezy and nice. we took pictures, fool around and do silly stuff that doesn't match our age. Dexter must be having fun watching and joining in too :D and i found out another bad thing about wearing heels. you can't walk on beach with them :p so we took them off and run around barefooted.

We had much fun in the beach for about an hour i think. then we go around melaka and only when back home at about 11pm. so that's how we spend our merdeka the fun way. and i'm broke again :p until next month then! XD

blank mind..
After having 3 tests in a row, and a whole week of frantic studying, doing nothing except stuffing my mind with formulae and equations even when i'm eating, the eraser debris on my desk and papers scribbled and thrown were more than what i can produce in 2 months. All my free time was used up and classes were sacrificed for the sake of the tests. Even to the extend that after the test were all over, i forgot how it was like to be free, and to procrastinate. Like for instance, now, after my monday 4 hours classes (which i din go for the first 2) i felt empty. i don't know wat i should do to kill the rest of the free time. But before the tests, i would think of so many things that i'd glad to indulge in and so many tasks to get involved with. Hope i'll get rid of this emptyness by reading novels. trying to finish off angels and demons so that i can get back to my old rhythm.
merdeka's coming and my roommate's birthday's a day before.. got to get present for her!! >_< and i have a meeting tonight. Well, i guess it's all coming back. i'm going to be really busy after all. *bricked*
for those who had ym-ed or msn-ed me during my study period, i'm so sorry that i din really answer back nicely (mainly use emoticons to reply) this is because my keyboard is on my monitor and i only have my computer table [without keyboard desk] to study >__< so do forgive me and dun think me as being cold k? *puppy eyes*
guess that's it. even if you see me in campus or out, i might be blurry and probably won't notice anyone due to overconsumption of brain capacity so.. do give my a pat on the back or wave at me frantically to get my attention *Bricked*

Happy Bday, Shin Dee!!
yes. we are celebrating you getting older XD *bricked*
It was so much fun during shindee's party in Witchery Idel, which is a cafe newly open in U centre. most of the ppl in the party are shindee's coursemates, and me, loomun, weiyong, benny, kristine n qj there too. In the cafe, besides us there were several ppl having their bday celebrations. so being invited many times, we finally pushed shin dee near the music podium and sang bday song together for a long draggy time :p
Shin dee unwrap all her presents eagerly while we watched. got really nice bunch of presents, lucky you XD here's pics of them :D

The fun begins when the cake arrived. XD it was a secret recipe chocolate cake *heavenly* and lucky i din eat a very big piece cos it's very creamy and filling :D

after tat, Shin dee started to cut a smaller cake brought by Benny :D

then came the cake smearing time!! Kristine strikes yet again! XD and here's the priceless pic of the year:

Just that, this was not the only time she got smeared with cream. the vicious cycle went on and on, everytime after she wash her face, she'll be creamed again without fail. *pats Shin Dee*
Well.. this din not go on for long, as shindee strikes back with a full blow! jz that QJ was the biggest victim xD Loomun took a video of the process. Shin Dee cornered QJ who was protecting Kristine, and end up being smeared in the face :D hope you can wash off the new chocolate dye on your sideburns XD
After all the fun and excitement, we had to clean up the place abit *guilty for messing up the place with cream* and we went back, not before taking group pictures:

more pics.. but lazy now XD can't wait to go bon odori!! XD
Happy Birthday again, Shindee! *hugs*

Maths test postponed
urgh. jz when i thought i can finally get over it. Been reading/doing maths since monday (some ppl even earlier *shudders*) and i even skip class today to do math! *bricked* yea yea.. excuse to play truant XD but that's beside my point. The thing is that when we were few meters away from our house biking to campus, weiyong, behind me, received a call saying the test was postponed.
i was like huh?! wth?! while stabling the bike steering xD It'd be bad to have accident before we even get to campus (tho last time i did had an accident before exam and surprisingly scored pretty well for it :p)
so still putting on an incredulous face, we decided to go take a look and see if it's for real. We've been cursing all the way till exam hall, where we saw tones of ppl walking in the opposite direction. guess the rumour's true. but wat caught my curiousity most was the reason behind it all. Viola!
THERE WERE NOT EVEN A TABLE AND CHAIR IN THE HALL!! @__@ @$%$@#$!#!#@ XDXD
It seemed that there's a discommunication (i wonder if there's a word like that) between the lecs and FMD (facility management department or sth) so when the event previously held at exam hall finished, FMD ppl din send any staff to rearrange back the exam tables and chairs. So, unless we bring our own tables and chairs (of which weiyong was eager to do) we gotta postpone our test. That goes for cyber ppl too. oh well.
the lecs in charge, Dr. Lim -he despices us for calling him anything other than Dr Lim. No Sir, No Mr.Lim, No nothing and he wont response to any of us, seriously if we dun call him wat he wants XD- was extremely pissed off and stared at the space, arms crossed as usual. Dr. Gan, who is my current math lec and tutor, was nonchalently explaining about the postponement and the reason, breaking off into a smile or craking jokes with students now and then. Difference of hell and heaven right? XD and they (both the docs) get along pretty well. opposite attracts? *not going to think any further than tat* :p
So one of the students ask if we can sit on the floor for the test XD i was hoping we can and Dr.Lim came butting it "what? you have to sit for 1 hour!" and look all disapprovingly at us. man, can't you take a joke? i shot back "really?! i dun mind!!" and he was startled and looked away into space again. Dr. Gan was laughing and all cheery as usual (heard he jz got so amiable recently, seniors said last time he was very strict) so having seen what i came for, me and weiyong bike back, somewhat frustrated. no. make it Very Frustrated. Now i have to study for maths all over again!! urgh.
on a lighter/not so angst note, EMiNA AGM 06/07 was quite a sight to behold, at least at the first hour XD. There were tons of ppl in there crowding up A1, our biggest lecture hall in CLC @_@. Preparation on the computer was a mess, but somehow we pulled thru, somehow ^^;; running to and fro to fix things, getting wires/cable, transfering slides/videos, and forgetting things on the way. Anyway, we got alot of enthusiastic ppl as working committee for both our club and GACC07 so i'm quite happy all and all. Must be my presentation that dragged them in XD *bricked* oh and thx to Khurshid too of course >w< too bad all the girls came to gacc rather than club's working comm XDD jkjk
so that's about it. Bon Odori here we come! XD *get camera ready to shoot yukata gals* XD
New Start
I'm in Gamma now. The thought slapped me in the face even harder when i see alot of freshies walking around in campus, suit up, carrying MMu-branded bags and hanging their laminated student card around their neck. Besides, there are new changes everywhere; fresh new hair style+hair color on frens, different classes and schedule, and unfamiliar faces for classmates. >.< this never fail to make me feel lost, intimidated, yet at the same time i'm brimming with excitement and anticipation. A whole new year to start my Uni life once more! YEAH!
It's the 2nd day of my 2nd year in degree, and i nearly overslept for my maths class today. Did i mention that i slept through my first 8am class on the first day? Really hope i can get up before 8am for the rest of my morning classes or i'll be desperate and dead for having poor attendance again XD
i'm supposed to start studying bit by bit daily, but i'm jz too addicted to a SNES game called "terranigma". The original name of the game in japanese is Tenchi Souzou, which mean The Creation of the World. I finished playing it when i was form 2, so you can imagine how old that game was. In spite of that, it's done by ENIX, before they become Square Enix, so you can expect it to be good :D the story was about resurrecting the world, and killing monsters n bosses. it's really easy to play, since there's not much combo skills and the battle system is like the Megaman series type, jz hit them on the right rhythm. I'm the type who go more for story instead of gameplay, so it's fair enuf for me *grin* Oh yeah! i can even use cheat on the simulator XD it's so cool *get bricked* if anyone's interested you can get the simulator and game from me!! my sister downloaded it jz before the hol's ended and i was delighted to be able to replay it again ^__^
here's some snapshot of the game:
so.. dubious as it seems, i'll try to do my best kicking start in everything. Everthing which includes making the next GACC another round of success, while not screwing up my studies, better my personality and interpersonal skills, and get closer to frens :D *hugs* guess that's not that hard right? *fingers crossed*
P.S. 1/3 of my harddisk died on me, and all my downloads are there. *sob*
P.P.S Upgraded my com to 1Gb RAM~ now i can use photoshop without lag/crash.
P.P.P.S I'm Broke.

いるいるなあった
heh. sorry about not updating for so long XD
Around that previous post, there's so many events that i'm too lazy to post. for example, we had Loo Mun's birthday party (13.4.06), GACC appreciation dinner (15.4.06), maths n electronic exam, rushing of assignments n presentation... phew. wonder how we made it being so hectic.
And yesterday we have EMiNA Ad-Hoc Meeting (>Edo: yea i know, now that you said it i find it weird to have AGM meeting so many times XD) and YES! i'm OFF THE STAGE! no more president of EMiNA!! nyakakakakakka *bang wall*
Anyway, congrats EDO! You Hold The FUTURE of EMiNA now! Feel the wrath of 5th KaiCho of EMiNA (which is me) if you ever think of screwing up *fiery eyes n flame blowing*
Ehem. Hope that all the new hicomms will put in their efforts relentlessly and bring EMiNA up to a higher stage! Tanomu yo! we lay our trust on you now. ^_^
That said, i'm still one of the hicomm and.. BEHOLD! The Director for GACC07! yes! We are still having it next year! And hopefully larger scale and more eventful! can't imagine why i've gotten myself into deep shit again.. well, since i'm in it now, i better make it even more successful or else XD
Saa.. te. Later we are going to Shibaraku for our Hicomm appreciation dinner so i'm very looking forward to it ^^. next update will be full of pictures.. i swear! XD

The Long Awaited.. GACC Post!
sorry i have to drag this post so long. :p
for anyone who does not know, GACC stands for Games, Anime, Comic Circle. Our event was held on 18th of March 2006, in Exam hall, MMU Malacca campus. It is the biggest ACG event and the first to be organized in Malaysia too!
GACC - Turning Point of History
Being the president of EMiNA for about a year now, I have always felt that i want to do something great, or anything that is different, exciting, and worthy of being called an achievement. But being the usual blur and undecided self, i can never do anything right on time, let alone realizing such great achievement. I was afraid to step forward, further recoiling at the thought of failure. In my dreams, i would laugh myself off.
But the idea of having a national anime event change it all.
We formed a team with what we have, and march on. EMiNA hicomms, all 18 of us gathered and discuss. We are very excited about this idea, doing something different and out of ordinary for our club, which was alleged a half dead one. A change. But, a difficult one. Being complete rookies, we have much obstacles to overcome and problems more than we could ever imagine to haunt us throughout day and night.
First, it's the decision on our event name, venue and time. We could not proceed without this, the most important decision of all. Time was slowly slipping away as we went into futile argument, with problems on the booking of our venue, indecisive stand of ground, and conflicting oppinions. Time is money- that was the situation that this saying applies most to. the more time we wasted, the slimmer our chance of getting sponsors became. Everyone was stressed and frustrated, blaming each other and holding grudges for our own incompetence.
When our event proposal was finally out, with all the 3 elements all gradually readied, more than 2 months had passed. We delayed everything in our schedule. Frantically, we scour every nook and corner for sponsors. We approach almost everyone, or so we thought. Most of them were doubtful about our event, as the concept was new and we were the first to do such event. We were frustrated. But we stood up, again and again, all for the sake of the club. Phone calls, emails, applications; we tried all of them. It was nerve-breakingly tensed that time.
At the start of our 3rd semester, things started to brighten up. Our toiling efforts had somehow brought back some rewards. Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur, or refered as JFKL, had answered our call of distress. YES! Finally we have a sponsor! We jumped for joy and was in bliss, before another good news came. Kurnia Insurance, thanks to Shin Dee, had decided to sponsor our event too! the capital worth even more than wat JFKL promised! All of us were in euphoria by then, only to be greeting by more challenges and problems ahead. Life was not a bed of roses, and will never be.
Now having gathered most of the capitals we need, another headache came. Publicity. Being the pioneer of such event, we need as much promotion as possible. What's an event without a crowd? A Failure. No one wanted that, after all the effort we had put into it. So? promote lah! With WHAT?? banners? buntings? posters? All these don't drop down from the sky. We need the designs immediately. Yet, things were not going well, if not worse. Design team was in trouble for not coming out with designs, or even a floorplan for our venue. Things got uglier as time passed, with only a few of the comms multitasking all the task which was supposed to be shared equally among all. finally we have to cut the gordian knot by force. Friendship between us tensed up and went dangerously near the verge of breaking.
That was not the only problem we had. Vendors, Doujin sellers, food, transportations for CF ppl, sound system setup, venue floorplan, rental of stage n tables, Decoration. All these problems landed on us without a warning, mainly because of our bad planning and indecisiveness. It was jz a week before event that we got to hang our banners and buntings, finally designed, altered and printed. The process was gruesome, and i swear i don't want any part of it a second time. Publicity done. 1 down, more to go. jz great. My sanity was slipping away, day by day, until the day itself.
With the efforts of all the dedicated hicoms and working comms, the venue was set up perfectly, throughout the night before. It was lovely with white and blue cloth hanging across the ceiling, accompanied with blue ribbons and balloons. The stage deco was decently good, with partition boards stick with painted anime mascots and japanese sliding doors at the sides. Even our event mascot, Elio was dry and painted white. Delighted, but still not letting my guard down, we proceed on preparation on saturday early morning.
Things were messy and we were like cat on hot brick as we forgot to print the registration papers, as well as other necessaries. Things were not looking good as time ticked away, drawing nearer and nearer to the opening of the event. Vendors were late, so were the CF ppl. Preparation and set up were delayed and early crowds got in the hall, having high anticipation, only to be let down. CALM DOWN!! That was the only thing we could do.
We waited and YES! Things finally went back on track and in time, Ms. Kugai and Mr.Shimada, representatives of JFKL came. Thus started my job, to tour them around. we went around the already setup venue, with various merchandises on display, doujins n artworks adorning the otherwise forlorn partition boards n booths. They were amazed and impressed by what we have done, eyeing the setting, the vendors and also the sea of crowds. We were awed ourselves! the previously spacious walkway was now pack filled with posing cosplayers of all kinds, overwhelmed visitors snapping photos, as well as curious school kids and parents. I could choked myself to death with happiness and relief but i had no time for that.
Then came the Opening Ceremony. Khurshid, you were great! That's the best EMCEE skills i've seen since dunno when. All the formality went and thus let our event BEGIN! Me and Hsia-Liang entertained the JFKL representative summore along with Mr Syukor, our VIP of the event. It was all praises and good comments from the representatives, with Mr. Syukor smiling throughout our talk. Then i was finally free to walk around myself xD
During the event i neglected my sisters. *bang wall, shoot self* Really hope they enjoy themselves. You guys grown up di so can go walk around yourselves la *get bricked* Seriously, i felt bad about it T_T we met in the hall several times, walked around together a few moments and went apart. i'm a bad sister. orz
There were alot of Cosplayers, but too bad i could not take photo with them cos i had lent my camera to the photographer team. I was mainly walking around, keeping an eye for trouble or difficulty faced by vendors, cosplayers and working comms. When the competitions kick start, the crowd was overwhelming. Not an inch was spared between you and the crowd. all the seats were taken, ppl standing around the stage and even sat on the floor, cheering for and taking photos of the cosplay contestants. Responds for the PS2 competition as well as drawing competition were good too. Things were better than expected, with this multitude of crowd.
But one or two slight hiccups occur everytime, which were enuf to send our nerve wrecking. Theft caused the whole security division as well as all the hicoms panicked. Besides, Sales team had ran out of small changes, despite the dire need of coins. I rushed back home to get my pouch of coins worth RM30 to settle the sales team's problem. Luckily when i got back, the missing items were found out to be in another fren's hand. Case closed. Phew.
I was feeble and tired after that. The rest of the event went pass like a gust of wind, and ended before i realized it. Prizes were won, Photos taken, and there it went. Months of preparation and the one day event ended in a blast. A few problems arise again after the event, but was settled quickly. I was too tired to do anything else already, so was everyone else. Visitors and Cosplayers went back with a smile on their face, which paid off all our hard work and bloodshed.
I'm grateful that i'm not doing all this alone. Without you guys, i would have suffocated to death, or would have hung myself before that. Loo Mun, Kristine, Shin Dee, and the rest (you know who you are :D) i sincerely thank everyone, hicomms and working comms alike, who helped out in the preparation for GACC, the coolest and biggest event in the history of EMiNA.
Really, I'm proud of having such a big event, and i will never forget all the joy and sorrow that we had went through together. Everyone of us had make the impossible a reality, with aspiring perseverence and selfless sacrifices. Thank you to all the supporters too, who came to our event, especially my sisters. *hug*
I'm so glad that... i finished this post that i'd cry in joy. *get bricked*
jkjk, photos will be up soon :D

Time Warp!
#listening Hakasama No Chou, by SNoW
#studying Instrumentation (supposedly)
Seriously i think there is a time warp.. time flew with such velocity faster than lightspeed that i'd think i've jz gone thru some crazy roller coaster ride. It's like i'm sucked into a vortex and tossed and whirled in there until i was spat off it, all groggy and umpteen times blur.
Now it's already 1st of April. and oh yeah! it was decided that Kid will be our next EMiNA president! Hurraahh!! Let's ask him for a speech! *clap clap* :D
*runs away from kid*
ok.. i'm jz joking.. it's suppose to be a joke. so laugh! XD and happy april's fool to everyone!
back to blogging.. er.. the GACC post.. i swear i'm goign to post it later because i have exam!! *lame excuse but it's the sad truth orz* for now, i'll jz report my monotonous life after the event.. better than no updates right? XD
19th march- send my sisters to melaka central. Tumpang lynn's car *thx lynn.. hug* waved goodbye to them *tears* and went back home. Later, cleaned the venue, returned the long tables, and ate the leftover icecream. went home and back again to exam hall doing nothing, until dinner time.
20th march- went to exam hall early in the morning to return F&N fridge n leftover can drinks, the stage was already removed earlier by the MBMB ppl. Stayed in exam hall doing nothing again, oh, yeah. we printed pics on glossy photo papers using the Canon printer. Nice pics i got >w< Saber n Byakuya *kyaaaaa* later on was slaved by FMD ppl cos they din come and arrange back the exam tables n chairs until we have done most of it. felt frustrated and glared at them =_=+ After the icecream fridge was taken back, we kept all our stuff in our operation room n went back home.
21st march.. and following days- after event blurness+empty memory span. XD
24th-26th march- studying for Intro to Machines. study freak mode activated.
27th march- skipped all classes n test at night. everything went smoothly, i guess.
28th march- realized that i'm broke and i owe alot of ppl alot of money for meals. orz. waiting for refunds from club cos account money is squeezed out until the last drop, and will be dry as desert for another 2 weeks.
29th march- overslept. seems that i've got good results for previous test, cos my name was mentioned in class, while i was sleeping at home. great timing. well, i jz hope that the lecturer won't remember my name. pls spare me those extra attention cos i dun want to be in the candidate list of students called out to solve problems, thankyou :D
30th march- got money from kristine, who can't put up with my whining anymore and we ate in Heritage, my first proper meal since the event. Screening was delayed for 30mins because the connection of the harddisk was very unstable for file transfer. end up we use Jin's laptop to screen, Gomen ne.. m(_ _)m think we will have to burn into cds now that the hd is not working well..
31th march- 31% discount at Baskin Robins! yey! After Dexter had finished his lab, he drove me, kristine n Yining to MP and we watched ICE AGE 2, Melting Down. Before that, we ate baskin robin Ice cream!! XDD was damn happy. we ordered the 2 scoop pint, having rasberry cheesecake n citrus ice. the latter was damn sour! >w< Kristine bought another pint and sneaked it in to the cinema. hahah. i'd rather not eat anything cos the show was really funny and eating would take most of my attention away :p Later Dex went back home, n we took bus to Jusco for shopping. the bus ride was long and chilly, as the rain pelted down heavily. Luckily it was jz drizzling when we alight the bus. We shopped uber fast and was paying up before 4pm, which was jz in time to call dexter for a ride home XD
1st april- am supposedly studying for Instrumentation, but end up dawdling n watching dragon zakura which i got from jin's hd. Then 11am we did spring cleaning in our house until about 2pm, with our living room and porch sparkling clean n tidy XD the sense of achievement was great everytime i come back to a debris free porch, and squeaky clean living room XD
so.. i've finished about half of the money i got from kristine, paying bills, debts, proper meals n groceries. ahh.. wat a relief to not owing anyone money again... i still owe ppl blog entries tho... *ignore*
hurray for KONshid!! *runs with lightspeed*

Thankyou so much!! XD
I've had the best birthday parties, thx to you guys! yeah.. it's 'parties'. Plural form. *jumps with joy* I had one with my wacky classmates *hugs* and another one with my buddies in EMiNA club. This means, this year, my 20th birthday, i had 2 cakes of my choice! It was really fantastic to celebrate with all my frens, 2 days party in a row. The hang over on thursday was undoubtedly worth it XD
On Tuesday, before it strikes 12, my classmates (Anne, and her koibito Ee Jin *XD*, Jon, Mohan, Kai, CM, Lilo, Alex, Chen Li, Dexter) and my housemates celebrated my birthday in our house. It was hilarious at the part where i had to bite out the pushed-in-the-cake-deep candle, while Mohan, sharing my birthday cake, got the other one XD The cake was delicious, which was a strawberry flavoured moose cake. It was such a long time since we've 'played' the cake smearing game that i got my guards down easily after finishing my piece of cake >__< I din know that kristine was aiming all this while. Out of the blue, i felt a sudden touch and Argh! cold cream on my cheeks and there was a gleeful kristine. After recovering from the shock, we chatted more and then when out for yamcha in Cahaya Dinar. Then, the best part was that we get to ride back home in Ee Jin's new BMW! that's way cool XD
On my birthday night, after attending our japanese class (Yeo-san gave me a magazine for birthday present XD) we meet up with shu yin and lynn, who had all the posters and buntings and banners in her car. Shu yin gave me a DVD filled with the stuff i wanted (thx, shu yin *hug*) before we went to cahaya dinar for the party.
Almost all the EMiNA hicomms are there, and i'm so happy that i can't stop grinning like an idiot. Benee gave me a handmade present as the day before i was jokingly nagging him for a present. I was really glad XD Then, my next present was from QJ... and i can't suppress my delight as i unwrapped the gift.. it's a novel! and wat's more.. it's the latest by Sophie Kinsella!! *screams* i jz can't believe QJ bought this for me. Thank you so so much! i promise i'll lend it to you once i've finished reading it ^__^
After going thru the birthday ritual, i had to bite the candles out again. *that's the only bad part about having 2 cakes for 1 birthday XD* Got mocha cream on my nose, but that's not the worst yet. after everyone had their share, the cake smearing game roar back to life. Kristine hits, and i striked back, and on and on the war went.. on video. Edo was recording all this in his new N90! urgh.. it even got the part when i chase kristine off the table and ran like cat and mouse for afew meters >__<
later in the party i got sms and phone calls from frens as well as those back in hometown wishing me happy birthday.. 1 even sang to me thru phone! XDDD it was such a delightful surprise.
Our yamcha session+party ended at around 2am, with me and kristine smelling like cake and was as sticky as 1 too XD. It was fun and memorable.. hope i can celebrate like this every year to come ^__^
P.S. Mom gave me extra allowance! weee~~~ too bad mah sisters got exam on my birthday :p kid!! i'm waiting for the present XDDD Thanks everyone, for being there for me *hugs*

Holiday!! and updates!! XD
*currently in dad's shop awaiting his command to do stuff XD*
minna san genki desuka? after a few days of lingering around kristine's place, i'm finally back to my beloved home. It's jz good to be in Taiping again, with the smell of rain ever present and the cooling wind blowing, well, not always, but this is how i felt XD. Home is always jz better.
Before i went on blabbering about wat's happened between the interval of my last blog update, I've got to tell you guys about this cool thing.. I've been watching anime on TV! ...You guys must think that i've lost it but I'm telling you.. i watched the avi files animes we download all so frequently ON TELEVISION!!! @___@ *gone mad* really.. at first i thought me dad was kidding me when he told me to watch anime on TV.. but then when he insert Trinity Blood--i borrowed from kristine--in the DVD player, i was awed. It is playing as in monitor!! i practically gawked at the tv screen as abel nightroad and other characters appeared during the OP. and wat's more, the visual's supperb, better than in monitor cos the size is big XD.. i'm so gonna love the dvd player during the hols XD too bad i can't bring back to melaka haha.. orz
so, we'll first wind back the clock to the week during we had our FF screening.. In my engin math class on monday night, my helmet got stolen, blatenly in mmu campus!! damn the thief. i mean.. my old rusty bike was not the only one with helmet casually put on, and i won't have done it if everyone's taking their helmet to class! why me?! urgh.. when i got out of the boring class walking towards my bike, Kristine was the first one to notice about it. "Where's your helmet?" was wat she said when she was holding hers. That smacked me out of my usual blurness and onto woeful anxiety. Fishball was around by that time, and i told him about my stolen helmet. He was such an @$$ as he told me to take other bike's helmet in a-matter-of-fact way. I refused, as this is like stealing and the viscious cycle will repeat itself. I paced around hoping the thief would somehow be conscience striken and come back to return my helmet, but in vain. At last, i gave up and ride home. The guards stopped me and asked about, so i grudgingly told them that i've lost my helmet. Even so, they can't do anything about it. No point doing a report cos i won't be getting my helmet back.. haiz. All i had to blame is the stupid thief and my naive trust towards the security of mmu.
Had been whining about my lost helmet until the day of our FF screening but got ignored as expected XD. Before the screening, there's alot of commotion about whether to screen it publicly or jz for members. Kinda had headache over the issue and to add to it, i've got test on the day after screening. In the end, i kinda have it my way, and hoped for the best. Well, at first we had venue problem. the audio in B2 (the room we booked for screening) won't work and the CITS ppl confirmed it. So, a day before the screening i emailed the alpha lecturer having B1(the room beside ours) to swap classes with us, since they are not using audio. she agreed, and so we've solve one matter. But then, more problems arise as we went to our swapped room (B1). the lecturer from the previous class at 6pm was still in the room, with stupid class presentations summore! i told him politely that we have to prepare the screening before 8pm, but no.. he wont' get out of the room. He said his class will finish the damn presentations in half an hour's time.. it looked doubtful that he'd finish in time, but i let him, since he promised. we waited until 7.30pm, and yet he's not finished. I went to him again, and again he said it's gonna finish.. i saw that there's still like 4-5 groups to go, so i asked him if he wanna change venue, since Loo Mun had booked A1 as backup. I felt like stranggling him to death as he kept on insisting that he's gonna finish in 15 more minutes' time.
At last, at 7.50pm, our members started to come in the room, which made us feel like cats on hot brick. Desperate, we let the members in first, until the lec and his students finally clear the room. then, as we were setting up the video and audio (kinda had problem with the projector), i was called, and found out that it's the alpha lec. My face turn white as she told me that my original venue was used by another stupid lec, which is impossible. By then, the alpha lec's students were crowding all over the place as I ran to the class beside to asked the lec there for clarification. He glaringly told me that he had booked the place! This is outrageous! Loo Mun had booked the venue like weeks ago and now you tell me you've booked it?! Imbecile! I was trying hard not to shout at him, and there he was, saying he had got proof and went out to his office to get his paper. I'm so in deep shit at that moment, and suddenly Loo Mun said that they can use our backup class. Brilliant! so i went to the guards to ask them to open up our the class for them. After much hassle, the room was opened and i ushered the alpha lec in while apologising for the trouble caused. She was kind relieved, and did not scold me or anything, which i was grateful of. Still, i was really mad at the stupid lec who stole my room, as he came back to clc, smilingly telling he'd mistaken about the room he booked. I refrained from killing him, and told, no.. actually more like warned him not to do it ever again. so.. Case Solved, with the stupid lec as the culprit.
Back in our screening room, i cooled off in the air con and told gen and dex and others about the incident. Later on dex said he's going to get bentou for dinner so we all tumpang buy XD. At the show starts, i was readily sitting at the back, with kristine beside, while loo mun and jin were at the far end, chatting very noisily. *glares* they had watch it dunno how many times and were discussing about it. I haven't, so was kristine, so we hushed them, several times.. =__=||| the show was great, even more as we watch it on big screen XD the audio sucked abit, but that's the least of my worry. Practically throughout the show i was gawking at the chuned graphics and Tifa!! she's damn beautiful.. perfect combination of Rinoa and Yuna..*drool* Jin said she'd make a gay straight and a girl into les.. i agree vehemently. And then there's Vincent! he's so kakooii!!! him along with his blood red cape was such a killer! ish.. the only thing is that cloud's hair looked so fake.. but i've nothing against him, especially his swords.. damn cool! 6 of them all on the bike like kitchen knives arranged nicely.. summore can combine 6 of them into one big sword! no wonder it weighs 45kg! wonder how Cloud managed to hold it, let alone swinging it at enemy on bike..*shrugs*
Somewhere during the show, our bentou arrived as Dex came in the room distributing to us hungry souls.. It was dark and i can't see wat i'm eating but then it was delicious. I watched the battle scene between cloud and the Bahamut while eating fried prawn. Oishii desu (delicious)! was sipping last drops of my yakult drink as cloud was fighting with Yazoo and the other guy (forgot his name XD) in the tunnel on bike. hehe.. din think that sephiroth would appear at the end tho.. can't take my eyes off the screen as they were bashing each other up. Erm.. am i giving out too much spoilers? well, i think most ppl had watched it so nvm la~ XD After the show had ended, i thanked everyone for coming and then we hicomms lingered around the room until like 11 sth. We were screening the raw Last Order while chatting merrily. Can't believe that the screening ended so successfully, as our audience filled the whole room. And i can't believe that there's one international student was desperate enough to use his digital camera to record the show! of course i stopped him, but i forgot to tell him that he can get the show from us later :p. *felt sorry for that guy*
After the screening, we went back and i started revising my electronics.. luckily it's not on friday morning or i'd die. after studying as much as possible, we went in for test that night, and it turned out quite straight forward, jz that i din know how to do cos i din cover the last chapter so much :p. After the midterm test, we were rid of 1 more burden on our shoulder. Though we had to pass up our electronics assignment on the following monday, we were jz glad that the midterms were finally over.
On Saturday night, Dex, Gen, Kristine, Loo Mun and me went for dinner near muara in a village. Yes!! Seafood!! We got ourselves butter prawns, ikan bakar (grilled fish), clamps and the bamboo-stick-like clamp, which was blissfully yummy. There was a specially mixed soya sauce to go along with the dishes, and as dex said, it's really good. We sat near the river, where there were some mangrove forest on the opposite bank. It was a fullmoon, which explained the high tide. Needless to say, we were eating with utmost pleasure in the moonlight XD. *still drooling as i think back about the food* Well, we expected to pay at a higher price for the luxurious meal, but din expect it to reach 80 bucks.. found out that it's the prawn which top the bills.. 30 bucks for half a kilo! that's a real killer. can't deny it that it's fresh and lip-smacking good, but it's jz too expensive for us. Having learnt our lesson not to order prawns again next time, we paid through our nose and drove back to town. Since it's a weekend, we thought that maybe we can go kacau kid cos he always goes back to his house in ujong pasir. We went in Dex's car, but the house was dark. Kristine phoned him but too bad he was still in BBU. darn.. Our plan failed, so we headed to town for food XD. We parked near Fajah supermarket, and walked to the nearby food court. there, we ordered the Hong kong styled 猪肠粉 (ju cheong fun in canto, which looked like this jz that the one we ate dun have the red sweet sauce but instead we had prawns in the white) We chatted for a long time there, wat with FF, PS2 games, cooking stuff(me n gen can only listen blankly XD) and other stuff. It was fun, going out with frens like that and chatting and laughing without having to worry about curfew. We only went back home at about 12 midnight cos the food court was closing. All in all, it was really enjoyable and really hope we can come out like this more often XD
*dad want me to do the excel sheets.. will continue in next post XD*

Buzzing around =___= ;;
I woke up grudgingly this morning at about 11 as Mom had picked the best time around to call me *sweat*. I was modifying my programming codes until 3am in the morning, but after mom had hung up telling me to continue sleeping, i hardly did. Washed my face, and it's about 12. The japanese class is about to start and i heard a loud clang as Kristine closed the gate. So without breakfast i went out to campus too. The japanese class was boring, as expected. those newbies can't really catch up so sensei have to slow down for their sake. So we oldies (me not that old la >"<) have to tag along with them. What to do. But during the class, sensei played Utada Hikaru's First Love, which i liked very much. Too bad that time i had a worsen sore throat, if not i'd sing out loud XD.
Later on, me and kristine and loo mun went for lunch in PS. While we were eating we saw Kidrock flying pass us towards the chicken rice shop. he din notice us as i think he's in a hurry. He ta pao-ed and then went off quickly. I was worried about my project cos my .exe file can't open without using Tclite, tho Adeline said her fren said it's ok. I asked her to let me pass up the project, as i wanted to ask the lecturer. She told me that it's with my other groupmate, Hui Ting. So i rushed over to the lecturer's room, only to see hui ting on the verge of passing up the project. I took over, and she went to class. To my dismay, The lec, Ammar told me to go over to the computer lab to recompile it using Rhide (another IDE). So i did that, after waiting impatiently for the technician to open up the lab. Again, horror stricken, there were errors in my codes, which was not to be found when i used tclite to compile it. It was about 3pm, which is 2 hours before deadline. I was really helpless and told Adeline about it. She said i can go see the guy who did the codes for solution, so i went off breathlessly. I practically sped with my old bike over to his office, only to find out that the error part is actually unneeded. So, thanking him profusely, i flew to Adeline's house to reprint the codes.
In the mid, i was testing the codes again, but the output result was really weird, and got me worried sick. She suggested that i go see our saviour again, and so i dashed off, with my poor over-abused bike. After seeing him again, he assured me that the codes are ok, and he told me the output is weird because the input i keyed in was not very suitable XD. I was so embarrassed, as i barged into his office and then only to come out knowing there's nothing wrong at all with the codes. He's working sommore, and i felt so imprudent. He was jz smiling benignly as i said sorry for the umpteenth times. Wat a nice guy...
When i got out of the office, i saw an old lady was trying to use the pay phone, but to no avail. She told me that the phone ate her coins, after i've asked her politely, trying to hid my urgency to rush over to campus. so i jz took out my handphone and pressed the number in her address book. she looked so happy, as i pass her my handphone. When the line connects, she spoke in a different dialect, which i think is tio chew or sth, as i can only understand abit of wat she said. Shortly, she returned me the hp, and insisted on paying me. I was out of time, so hastenly i told her it's unnecessary. Regardless of my refusal, she got out her small pouch and handed me 50 sens while i declined it politely, before giving up shortly. haiz.. She thanked me again, and i jz smiled and nodded before i jumped on my bike and hurried off.
In the Computer lab, i saw alex and his frens are in there too, after he'd yelled my name and gave me a heart attack. With no time to lose, i switch on a com, and straight away compile my exercute file, and thank God, without anymore problems. It was half and hour before 5, so i shot out to the lec's room, and slit the project (paper and diskette together) under his door because he's not in. Urgh. Wat a relief. After all this, i felt like i can drop dead anytime. This can really kill me off if i do this everyday. Haiz. Tired, i went back to my room to stick to my beloved computer XD. Then only i go take bath.
At night, after dinner, Mom called again, and she asked me when is my hols starting. I said starting Oct, so she told me her plans. To my delight, she said she's longing to go to Gui Ling, a really scenic tourist spot in China. And yes! she's bringing me there along~ yey! one more thing to look forward to after the killer finals *sobs*

After Test and Cosplay!
On thursday night, i've finished my second last paper, which is engin math quite easily. But the thing that bugged me more was not my careless mistakes, but that my id and name was jotted down by the invigilator, as well as my 3 other fren's names. I swear i din cheat! Nor did i try to let other ppl see my answer. Well, i was really pressured before the test, and was thinking of cheating, but i din, after seeing the questions, which was really easier than i expected. Or is it my evil thought earlier that had oozed out attracted the invigilator? Anyhow, when we approach him for the reasons doing so, he said that we talked during exam, so have to see if our answers are similar, then only can 'sentence' us for cheating. Damn. I've a hunch that it's me that he suspected, who's giving out answers to my fren, as i stupidly sat bias to my frens, whom he thought must have copied my answers. Anyway, my frens din copy my answers, which was such a relief. So, there's only possibility for 4 of us having the same answers is 1 to a billion. haha. Not that i cared, cos i'm innocent. *Make faces at the invigilator*
On friday, we went to Tesco to refill our food stock, as well as to get the water filter tube, as ours were really muddy and disgusting since a week ago *nauseated*. We were lucky as Loo Mun's fren, Jun and her bf had offered us a ride there. So, we waited patiently in the house until their arrival. I was thinking of asking them to stop by the General Hospital, because i had to get my second dose of hepatitis B injection. But it was lunch time by then, so i thought better of it. As we were shopping, I jz walk around aimlessly, getting stuff that i saw and i wanted to eat XD. I'm an odd ball cos unlike the other gals, i dun cook and i dun really know wat to buy whenever i'm in a shopping mall. I jz tag along my mom everytime we went shopping, looking at random stuff and giving vague replies when my mom asked my opinions. Haha.. i never gave much thought about wat i should eat for the next few days. Maybe i'm jz plain thoughtless and blur.
Nevertheless, i've bought some foodstuff, and suddenly remember that my wallet's almost empty. After dumping a packet of milo i've gotten earlier, i strolled over to the atm machine, thinking about how much i should withdraw. It's time to pay the rentals, so i decided to get about three hundred as i keyed in the amount of withdrawal. Transaction Rejected. What the hell? Dun tell me mom forgot to bank in money... and it proved that she did. Heaving a sigh, I re-entered a lesser amount and went to pay up. lucky i din buy much, if not i'd be so dead. Before long, we went home, the red kancil loaded with our loots.xD
At home, we stuffed the fridge and no later i'm on my way out again, this time on my trusty rusty bike (hey, it's a pun XD). I biked over to the photoshop nearby, thinking of collecting the EMiNA membership cards from there. Yet it was not ready yet, and the auntie who's in charge wasn't there too. So i went off to the GH. It was a scorcher, and i was sweating profusely as i rode in the heat. Luckily, all the traffic light turned green as soon as i went near. Before long, i arrive in the compound of the hospital, not knowing which building to go. Anyhow, i parked my bike, and asked for directions. Feeling lucky again as i was not far away from the blood bank, i walked there and got my injection in a jiffy.
About half past 9 at night, Dex came for our cosplay planningXD. Lynn brought others along later and we started discussing which character to cosplay. I got mine settled quite early, while the rest were still in a confusion. haha.. At the end, everyone's finally satisfied with wat we have decided. FYI, we were invited to go to Melacca High School to cosplay while i'd have to give a speech about Anime. I was really anxious as i was still in the mid of preparing the script. And it's my first time to give a speech! damn nervous la~
In the morning, I woke up at 8am, took a bath and got myself into my costume excitedly. Then i went down, with over-knee dark blue skirt, and 3quarters long sleeve shirt with a red tie. Loo Mun said i looked really formal without the tie *shrugs* as i was in the kitchen getting my cereal drink. Later on, Dex drove here, and carried some clothes with him, not to mention hair wax. Then Genny came alone, followed by lynn, with Jin and Nikki in the car. Everyone was abit clueless on wat to do, especially Dex. After a while, Kristine brought down a pair of goggles, and Nikki in her schoolgirl costume, started to style dex's hair with hair gel. It was fun watching them messing around, with Dex looking helpless like a white mice XD. The end result was not bad at all, see this:
when everything's set, we drove off to the school, with a detour to Jin's place first to get some really cool black gloves. In about 20mins, we were there in the school, but it looked really quiet. We went around asking about the venue of the anime fest, and then parked near the hall. When we got out of the car, we change into our full costume (before it was hot so we decided not to wear fully XD) and trod off to the main hall. Shu Yin told us not to expect much, but it's jz so empty that it's not even worth being called an anime fest. Near the entrance there's some colorful rice artwork on the sides, while pathetically few partition boards with some drawings (i bet it's all from Shu Yin) were located at the back corner of the hall..
besides having the audience seats half filled with primary school kids, the hall is practically empty. We were like "huh? this's it?" as i looked (or i thought) incredulously at the supposed Anime Fest. Then as i approach The organizer, who's Shu Yin's little bro, he said i can start my speech anytime by then. I was shocked, As i expected some VIPs to be present and have some speech before my non so important one, moreover the event's sponsored by Celcom. But it seemed that there's only little kids around. So, after everyone's ready, I went up the stage. After the organizer had finished his speech, it's my turn.
Even if they're little kids, i felt abit nervous and stuttered quite a while before i got used. The kids were obviously not paying much attention, but they do give response whenever i ask if they know the anime titles i mentioned, hehe.. so nice of them to tag along XD. Then, my speech was cut short, as i felt that all the facts about anime were unnecessasary. On the later part of my speech, i introduced Cosplay to them, and Lynn they all got the cue and came up on stage. They received a resounding applause as they pose on stage, especially Nikky XD. It was fun seeing some of their bored faces turning bright and excited.
Before i knew it, we're done. They started to screen Hikaru no Go in the hall, while we went out to take photos. here's some of them:
Then, we went off to MP, of course after taking off our costumes XD. we had lunch in McDonald's, and then walked around to kill time. someone suggested to go bowling, and everyone agreed. i was really excited cos it's the first time i go bowling :p we played 1 round, i've really enjoyed it, tho being a noob in this. Kristine striked, which was really impressive. Although Hsia Liang striked 2 times, he messed up the last round and fall second to kristine XD. no need to say, i'd secure the last, but i'd had my share of beginner's luck. haha.. After that, we went for merchandise hunt and that lead us to Jonker Street. We ate cendol there, but the gula melaka was too sticky, and the quality dropped since we came last time. haiz.. this is wat happen when the food got publicity, which is a real pity. We walked around the street after our tea break, and instead went looking for katana XD. we saw afew in the antique shops, but they were really expensive. Looks really cool tho, if you carry it while wearing a shinigami costume! We were chatting about cosplaying as shinigami for the coming Comic Fiesta, which sounds really fun. Hope we can get costumes :p
so that day ended with me damn exhausted. It's been a while since i've walked so long, especially in the day. haha.. should get some exercise nowadays >v<
