other than this, my holidays is jz plain being a maid+amat at home. haiz...

*ran around rejoicing, knocked into the wall and my pee brain in cloud nine brought back down to earth*

'It' actually refer to my com, or my system unit to be exact. And you've guessed it. it was unusable the first few days of my holiday at home... Why? Firstly, my system unit have really weird display card that i need a DVI to VGA adapter in order to connect it to my monitor at home. Unfortunately, i absent-mindedly left the adapter in melacca, still connected to my monitor, which is packed and left in our rental house. Damn! So the 2nd day at home, me and my mom went around taiping to search for computer accessories shop. Now i realize how few computer shops are in taiping. I think it's least then 10 in total >"<. Anyway, the first shop said they dun have stock, so have to order. 2nd shop said they've never seen such thing before *sweatdrops* and finally, the 3rd shop, i was expecting that they have none that i need. Yet, to my surprise, they've got it! it was 20 bucks but i dun care. i got the money, then paid and got wat i wanted happily back home, thinking that things are finally going my way. Little did i know that the worst was yet to come.

At night, i connected every single cable there was to my system unit, and it worked!! i was in euphoria when the windows login page popped out and things were going fine, jz abit slower than usual, not that i care! Then, i was happily clicking the PVs and anime promos to show my sisters, when a window popped out of nowhere and said my com's gonna shut down in 30 seconds. What the HELL?! i'm certain that my face was ash white as my sisters weren't looking too good themselves. I shrugged off any negative thought and left the com restarting while i went downstairs to get some air. Things took a turn for the worse when my younger sis ran down and told me that there's this window saying some files' missing and can't go into window login page. If i'm a comical character you would see my jaws dropped to the floor, eyes popped out and dark lines appearing around me. But that couldn't express half of my shockness. So i shot upstairs and was partially hoping that my sis was kidding me. My hope shattered into pieces when i saw the black monitor screen with the obnoxious window popped out in the centre. shit! i restarted the com numerous times, to no avail. DAMN!!! So i gave up, and resorted to my super dad, who came to the rescue.

Actually when i told him about that cursed incident, he was in Penang with his frens browsing computer stuff. I told him my harddisk had gone kisiao (crazy) and maybe need someone with computer supporting SATA harddisk (yes, mine's SATA, cos the stupid computer guy jz have to give me parts so unique that most ppl dun use.. =_=|||) in order to save my precious anime and stuff. Later dad came back and tried to use another harddisk as my com's primary master. He first formated it, which was previously my another com's 40gb harddisk filled with my sis's RO stuff *death glare from sis* and then connected it in my com. I was hoping that it would work but at the end i jz got more disappointed. Exhausted, both of us called it a day and my dad said he'll let his computer whiz frens to have a look at it the next day. In the mean time, he'd got a router and a harkdisk to usb cable from his penang trip. He was really excited like a kid, trying to connect our coms at home to the router as my house got 2 coms excluding my system unit. But then his attempts were futile and he suspected that there's some problems in the wiring which made the connection void.

So, we spent 2 days without internet connection, where my sis glued to the PS2 to fill in their emptyness XD while i started to write my previous blogs entry cos we've nothing better to do. Haiz... Luckily, my dad's fren was able to fix it! Wee~~ Finally! Found out that dad connected the harddisk wrongly but i'm jz glad it worked in the end. IT's ALIVE!!! YEAH!!!

That's it about my precious system unit which is working jz fine now, and i really hope nothing bad will happen to it again *touch wood*. Since dad added another harddisk for me, now i've got a total of 160gb in my com!! weee~~ that means more space for anime and manga!! yeah!

Right after the applied math paper, Anne suggested that we go yam cha (supper) in Cahaya Dinar at night to celebrate the end of exams. She asked us (me and kristine) to wear skirt, and of course i was shocked. Then she said everyone's wearing it so we might as well do the same. And so i was in it, with Kristine jeering at me "someone got a new skirt that day so now can wear di~" =__=" was my only expression.

That night, i wore the pale blue skirt, which made me feel weird and awkward. As we walked to our rendevous, Anne was assuring me that everything will be ok while i whispered my complains to kristine about how weird i felt and how hard it was to walk wearing a skirt over knee length. Ish.. when we arrived, we were greeted by remarks about us wearing skirts. Cheesey was like "What happened to you?!" and others mocked horror and shock looking at us. Anne asked if they also wanna wear skirts with mocked sincerity while i gave cheesey several slaps and punches on his shoulder for his kind remark. after that we joined in the chatting and ordered drinks in between. Everyone was here, most of the PE01 that is. We enjoyed ourselves to the max since exams' over and this might be the last time we'd ever gather and have fun like this.

After awhile, when everyone is finished with their drinks and food, We started our photo session and grabbed each other to take pictures. We took group pics, freezing our smile for several mins until our jaws' numb. CM took so many pics until he'd forgotten how to smile while Jon finally knew how to smile nicely after countless snaps. funny, isn't it? They had some really funny pose and we were mostly busy laughing at them. Before long, Yen Wei, Alvin and lilo came to join in the fun, adding in more noises, particularly from Yen Wei XD. We fooled around until 12sth, when everyone started to pay for the food and leave. Before that, we hugged each other and promised to keep in touch with those going to cyber. We wished them good luck and an enjoyable holiday and went off.

Wednesday was Loo Mun's birthday! on Tuesday night me, Kristine and Loo Mun were eating burgers near ep around 12. So we were among the first to wish her happy birthday with mouthful of burger XD. So on Wednesday evening, we rented a kancil and went out to celebrate, after we'd settled the telephone line application in the kedai telekom. Kristine drove to Mahkota and we watched million dollar baby, which was quite a movie IMO. Then we went browsing the shops for her birthday present, but to no avail. Though we had fun window shopping, there were not much choices here and so we decided to get her a belated birthday present. At about 8pm we went off to Amigo's for dinner. I ate black pepper chicken, Kristine's barbeque sauced while our burthday gal ate sizzling fish fillet. the food there was not bad at all, seeing me savouring my dish blissfully was enough to prove that XD. The setting was very inviting with bright glows of multiple hues on the celling and noises from ppl chatting and eating happily.

Then, i took the wheels and drove to Secret recipe, only to find that my driving skills sucks plus my parking skills even worse than i thought. It took me ages to adjust the car position to get in the parking slot and in the end i gave up and handed over the steering to kristine. My face was glowing red with embarrassment as we stepped in the restaurant, where ppl came out to see wat on earth is the silly girl on the wheels trying to do. That time i felt like putting a paper bag on my head >"<. damn embarrassing i tell you. ish. So i acted non-chalantly while those two were smirking gleefully at me. haiz... Before long, our slices of cake came and we indulged in. Loo Mun's yogurt cake was unique with rasberries spreaded on top and tasted like yugurt (duh!) while kristine's coffee cheese cake was jz coffee tasted. Okay. i admit i wasn't doing a good job describing the cakes but that's because at that time i was really full and can't really eat them with ease XD. so spare me with the cakes, k? *kena wallup* After that i drove everyone back, getting lost several times in town but no harm done. Phew, what a relief! and so the day ended with us back in hostel and attempting to pack our stuff into bags and boxes.

Thursday was the most hectic day i've ever had after exams. In the morning, i woke up and continue packing the remnants and then sat there daydreaming until my dad rang me. He said he was going to arrive at about 12.30 and so i quickly get ready while kristine was jz waking up. After a while, we went down and i saw my grandma, aunt and uncle were there too. I happily gave grandma a big hug and then we went to town to eat the infamous chicken rice ball. at first i wanted to bring them to the pork ribs noodle stall but it was closed, to our surprise. So, we went to the chicken rice ball shop near jonker for lunch. the chicken was good, and grandma was surprised that i ate the chichen with chilli sauce. hehe.. before i came to MMU i was chilli-free and now? all thanks to Kristine and Loo Mun i was trained to eat spicy stuff XD. After lunch, we toured around the area of red houses (wat's it called again? darn, my geography and history sucks) then we drove back to the hostel to begin moving our junks.

Guess what? it took us 4 trips up and down the lift to completely clear our stuffs; computers, bags of clothes, tons of books and lots of other necessities. We were damn exhausted jz carrying and dragging our stuffs out of the room and down the elevator. Then, my dad crammed all those into his van, which was thankfully long enough to load all our stuff. After much toiling, we went to our rented house and painstakingly dump everything in Loo Mun's future room. Phew, all of us were flushed with the exercise and were really glad that it's over. Mission completed finally! yey~

So, it was time for us to leave. We parted with Kristine and Loo Mun and drove off to KL. The ride was not a smooth one, with the diesel engine roaring throughout the journey and the overwhelming heat torturing us all. I dun even know how i got through it, maybe by dozing off every now and then, when i'm suppose to keep dad company XD. Anyway, we got through the 2 hours of extreme heat and reached my Aunt's house at about 7.30pm. There, we took turns to take bath, revelling in the cooling shower. When both my aunt and uncle came back from work, we went out for dinner then at night we slept soundly due to the exhaution during the day.

Next day, Me and dad and my cousin, who came back from London, went to Low Yat plaza to look around. dad was asking me if i want a laptop, so we went around taking catalogs and browsing laptops from shop to shop. most of the prices range from 3 thousand to 5, which was really expensive to me. But then it's really exciting to see all these laptops varying from size, performance, harddisk capacity and price and thinking one of these might be mine someday... ah, wat joy it was imagining having one of them while listening to the salesman introducing them one by one about their specialties and stuff... Yet in the end of the day, i told dad i dun need a laptop yet cos i've already got a computer. Darn. there goes my laptop. What to do, i'm such a good daughter XP (throw up).

After spending a few hours in Low Yat Plaza, we walked to KLCC as there was a massive traffic congestion along the road. It was not that bad actually, except that it had to rain and it get more intense as we were reaching KLCC. Darn, i was having a wet look as i stepped in the complex with dad, who din look any better. But then We couldn't care less about how we look, so we continued walking around the complex hunting for bookstores, as i was searching for japanese dictionary. Besides Kinokuniya, there were only a few bookstores, which shows how much malaysian reads XD. After several futile attempts to get hold of the jap dictionary, me and dad went to the centre ground floor to browse through the newest handphone on display. It was Nokia 6680, the one with the 3G technology. the salesgirl explained the features to us patiently and even let us try out the video conference thingie. Amazed, we thanked her and then went off to take pictures of KLCC from outside. As you can see, we were loitering aimlessly around KLCC cos my cousin wanted to meet his frens there, so we were actually killing time while waiting for him. When his gathering was finally over, his fren offered to drop us back in my aunt's house, to our relief. I was afraid that we had to wait for bus or taxi as i was too tired for that already.

On sunday, I can finally go back home. We sent my cousin and his parents to KLIA the day before so the van was then more spacious and less heaty. We reached home at about 6pm, jz in time for dinner, homemade. Ahh.. I miss homemade meals so much. to think that i can enjoy these delicious dishes for 2 months got me drooling all over the place XD. Home, At last!! *rejoice*

Phew! I'm home in taiping again! wee~ let's celebrate! 2 months of holidays, beat that! i'm going to enjoy it to the fullest no matter what. As for the blog, i felt so guilty for leaving it stalled for such a long time...>"< so let's start with exams! guess what? it's over (duh!) and i think i've done not that badly, since the papers weren't that tough, jz that we dun have enough time to study. bleh. the last paper, applied maths was a killer but then i think i can get enough marks to pass it. the last thing i'll ever need is failing the finals. since all our CPGA points are going to be reset when we go to beta year (starting my degree course), why bother about getting 4 flat, which i couldn't achieve anyway? hehe.. i'm jz being realistic, and abit self-consolating XD.

Now, jz wind back abit in time and i'll talk about things happened a week before finals. On Friday night, we celebrated Anne's birthday in the ep field. It was chilly and to top it off, rain drops drizzled for quite some time. Luckily, it stopped jz in time for our birthday girl to arrive. We did the birthday ritual, with our star, Mommy and the mouth-watering chocolate fudge cake. It was huge, about 10cm tall,fully covered with a layer of thick chocolate which melts in your mouth. Each of us were given a generous slice and i savoured it bit by bit, fearing the rich chocolate would escape my taste buds. Marvellous, not to mention, extremely filling. Kristine was having a hard time finishing off her slice while i was eating really slowly, which was sth you dun see everyday XD. When we finally finished off our share, it was fun time! It always started off with Alex provoking everyone and later on got persued, running helter skelter for cover. I was no exception, and of course i joined in the passe of the wild chase. hehe... it was fun no matter how many times we do this, and thinking that this might be the last time us can have such good time together spurt us on to enjoy ourselves even more. lots of pics were taken, with faces flushed with the persue and smeared with chocolate icings. We felt tinge of sadness in this birthday party because Jas reluctantly decided to study in Cyber due to unforseen reasons. Anyhow, seeing us so heart broken after hearing the news, she was being optimistic about her transfering and she assured us that she will be fine, with tears welling up in her eyes...

The party ended with us leaving the spot gradually after we'd cleared off the rubbish. We were exhausted not because of the party, but the thought that we can't do anything to help Jas to stay in Melacca. Things doesn't always go the way we planned, and most of the time we can't change its course, only to follow the tide meekly. Thinking about this made me felt insignificant and helpless. But, at least we spend our times together happily; even if it's short, the memory will last in our minds. So, Jas, good luck in Cyber! Besides, we can still chat using IM XD.

The next day, me, Kristine and Loo Mun aboarded the bus jz in time for the trip to cyber. Phew~ it was a chore carrying 2 bags of tshirts and walking from hostel to the main entrance. After being seated comfortably in the bus, i dozed off to sleep instantly, being tired and lack of sleep due to the party XD. The next thing i knew was we'd arrived in MMU cyber campus. So we marched to the main hall, only to find it smaller than i remembered. i've been here twice; first time for my chinese orchestra performance in collaboration with the uni's 2 years ago, second was jz plain visiting during last year. Now, it looked like it's smaller than our main hall, not that i'm boasting or anything :p. It was about 11am when we stepped in the hall, and the comms are getting ready for the open ceremony. We browsed around the comic display, Dvds, magazines and gundam models. there's even a PS2 for everyone to try on. We also saw ppl cg-ing with OMG, tablets!! we were practically gawking at them and the monitor screen as they were colouring awkwardly. Then I started to ask quetions about cg and the programmes used and their advantages and usages. it's so cool! Kristine was even more determined to get her hands on tablets, with her eyes burning fiery XD.

After walking afew more rounds in the hall, our excitement kinda died down into ashes. Cosplayers were streaming in the hall gradually, with some weirdly dressed until i can't recognised wat character they are cosplaying... *sweatdrops* Some of them were quite obvious, cosplaying as sasuke from naruto, the sol society's captains, rukia and others in bleach and Ragnorak?! is that even classified as anime?! weird. As we stared blatantly at the cosplayers and comment on some of their costumes, the event started with... OMG! some guy cosplaying as syaoran?! from tsubasa chronicles?! no doubt his costume (actually it's a really nice and kakkoi dark green cape and matching dark clothes) is like the character's, but it's jz.. you know, when your favourite character is being cosplayed by ppl, the perfect image kinda shattered into pieces...*screams* i want my syaoran back! waaaaahhh...

Bored and frustrated, we went out of the hall and it poured down hard on us. So we walked along the corners of buildings to get to the cafeteria. After waiting for like half and hour, our food came, which looked oily and fattening. despite that, we goofed down half of our meal only to find it filling and extremely salty. In conclusion, Cyber food is a no-no, certified by 3 picky gourmets from melacca XD. Then, we went to the library to kill time. To our amazement, we found quite a handful of fictions and nice story books and most of all, How to Draw Manga series! Kristine found it and we were damn excited about the books. Luckily we were able to borrow the books there and then and thus we used our smart card to borrow them. Contented, we went out of the library and back to the hall.

by then it's about 4 in the afternoon and the hall was suddenly packed with ppl queueing up in a corner. Curious, we joined the crowd and found that there were 3 local manga artist drawing and signing autograph on their fans' sketchbooks and comics. wow.. that's nice, seeing the artist drawing on the spot was really impressing. Yet, i wasn't a fan of them, in fact i jz knew their names tat day itself XD. so we move over to the PS2 site and i watched them playing naruto fighting game, which had really good graphic design and movements. I wasn't much of a player so i stood there staring at the game and the players' ever changing expressions XD. Before long it was time to go, and we headed back to the bus, with our anticipation coming back.

We were then going to Alamanda, the new shopping complex in cyberjaya. Once alighted from the bus, we can't wait to get ourselves in the complex. it was packed with ppl and shopful of discounts XD. We window shopped and tried on clothes for fun. We even bought some cloths for ourselves as the price was really reasonable and some very cheap. Loo Mun also got some OSTs at the price of 4 for 9.90. No wonder there's a big crowd in the shopping complex. After Browsing around for about an hour or so, we decided to get some food in our stomach. At 8.30pm, we gathered in the main entrance and then went back to melacca. I was then really exhausted and thus dropped dead right back on my bed.

On sunday afternoon (yes, i slept until 12sth :P), i woke up and then was stuck to my com doing nth until 3sth. then i realized there's this EMinA AGM that i have to attend. Thus, i quickly ran off to bathe and get ready for the meeting, not knowing wat's awaiting me... there's voting and stuff and i was bored actually, until the fateful moment. I can't believe my eyes. right beside the word president on the board was my name! wat the hell?! i snapped out of my blurness instantly and saw kristine and Loo Mun gleefully laughing at me... darn. Majority rules, and maybe it wasn't too bad being a president afterall... So, reluctantly i accepted the task and laugh back at those two as they got the posts of secretary and treasurer XD. And of course we have our general slave, edo~!! yeey~ i can see the gloomy year ahead *sweatdrop*

and so this is it... atonement for not writing for so long. haiz. later i'll continue about aftermath of finals, my stay in KL and my current miserable life... *sigh again*
